We loved this place. It was cozy and spacious. We had 3 of us staying: grandma, mom, and 9 year old daughter. Beds were comfy. Our unit has an upper loft level. There was an extra bed so we could have slept 4. The staff was so friendly. Daily breakfast was great for the adults. My daughter is a picky eater sometimes, but they were accommodating to her dairy allergy as well. We would absolutely stay here again. We walked the neighbourhood since it wasn't too far to the city uffizi square, duomo, da Vinci interactive museum. I'd come back and recommend to others.
Nothing really. There's no elevator so you do need to carry bags up a flight of stairs. But I think that's common.

We stayed in La Fonderia for 3 nights in May. It was such a nice place, simple but very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The garden was lovely for some morning coffee, there was also always complementary snacks and drinks in the kitchen area. But the best thing about La Fonderia was the two amazing ladies who welcomed us to the breakfast everyday with a smile. They were very kind and helpful also after the check out when we realized we forgot our stuff in the safe in the room.
Just one tip, make sure you have something against the mosquitos if you want to enjoy the garden. No mosquitos in the rooms or common areas but my coffee moments in the garden gave me quite a few bites

Joan has provided excellent directions to the accommodation, as well as a really nice parking space reserved for us. The room was so nice, we were surprised and enjoyed the fine details. If you are travelling with a family, this is the place, period. Joan has also prepared fresh breakfast right by the room, and coffee and refreshments are alwasy ready for us during our stay, again, thanks to Joan.

Lovely hotel in a great location - 15 minutes walk from the main train station with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Beautiful tranquil garden to unwind and a good breakfast. Joan was a fantastic host and helped make our short stay special.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, it was in a good walking distance of everything.
The slopping ceiling, the air conditioning was not working till the day before I left. The pictures are clearly old and do not show the room properly
