The staff were friendly and the place was very accommodating. Breakfast was great and included gluten-free options. room was comfortable and cozy. The balcony was cute. I really enjoyed having the garden area next to my room.
The only thing I didn't like was that my room was adjacent to the kitchen area so at 5am I could hear the preparations for breakfast and I wasn't able to sleep. Also the mosquitoes were very difficult to avoid, even though the room had a machine to deter them, I think it didn't work.

Yummy breakfast (fresh-basked croissants!), great friendly staff, very clean premises, price couldn't be beat. Appreciated that there are fewer crowds on that side of the river.
The tiny upstairs room with a sloped ceiling is not for anyone who is tall! Fortunately I'm short--but still had to bend over to get to some parts of the room. Didn't LOVE hauling my luggage from the train station, but it's doable.

The common area was nice
Room was not as advertised. It was a closet. Whem expressed my discontent, the owner and clwaning staff began arguing with me. Horrible treatment and decieving advertisement. Dont recommend!

Lovely rooms with lots of care put into making them as comfortable as possible. Impressed with the level of thought put into making our visit as pleasant as possible. Good breakfast with the option to sit outside in a garden or inside too.

The room was clean and comfortable, we loved using our balcony, the breakfast was wonderful, and the shared space for breakfast was easy to access and beautiful. Our stay felt quiet and we were able to access the room as soon as we arrived even though we were a little early, which we really appreciated.
Our two young kids were with us and it was a little far for them to walk and also a little hard to navigate the bus system from this location.

I LOVE IT HERE! La Fonderia was just magical! Alessandro and Joan really made our stay. The hotel is cute, colorful, and close enough to all the attractions you will want to see.

This B&B made my trip, for real. I can’t tell you how much I laughed and enjoyed my room - the one with the external bathroom. I never knew I could feel like Alice in Wonderland! I loved that they keep some things like water, coffee or tea 24/7, so you don’t have to worry about that. Breakfast is really good. Staff are the best, indeed.
Clearly is not that I didn’t like it, for sure, but I’m giving this advice to not recommend the room with external bathroom to someone alone with mobility issues because it’s a little bit difficult to get to it - everything else was amazing.

The garden was MAGICAL. We loved it immensely and returned there in the evening and morning hours. I imagine a longer stay there could be fantastic with some badminton or other games! The bed was very comfortable as well.
At some point in the evening the bathroom pipes started making weird (scary) noises, as if somebody was drilling through the wall. However, the owner answered immediately and all was solved!

The shared kitchen space was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was nothing extravagant but decent enough, and the staff also prepared coffee for us. We were also able to leave our luggage after check-out for a few hours. The view of garden from our room was also nice.
We had a very warm and humid night and were also bothered by mosquitoes.
