Nothing really.
The swimming pool was not available. The room didn’t have a kettle to make tea or coffee, if we wanted we had to ask the reception each time and next day it would be taken away. The Italiano hotel wifi was not working, the reception gave us a different wifi from the conference room. The maintenance of the room , bathroom was not worth the rate.The food menu price provided in the room and Resturant was different. There was lot of noise, shouting and swearing my people in and around the hotel at night which could be heard inside our room. The hotel didn’t have any control over it.

The hotel needs a renovation, and the breakfast is so-so, but that's one thing.
The biggest issue was that the room was very hot, 30 degrees (I took a photo of the thermometer). Once I raised the issue with the hotel staff they were profoundly unapologetic and unemphatic. All they could say is last week guests complained it was too cold, so they had to crank the heating up (really bad excuse) and that the hotel is fully booked, so no chance to change rooms. They reception staff could only give me the smart advice to keep the window open... really? That's all you can say? Brilliant advice, which also occurred to me of course, which is way I kept opening and closing the window all night, because once the room cooled down the cold air from outside was coming directly on me, and I already was sick with a cold, but once I closed it, it heated back up again in 2 hours... thanks for the advice.
It is deeply unprofessional, and speaks volumes about the lack of quality control (or disregard of it), that such a room was given to a hotel guest, and made pay full price. Also, staff should be trained better to handle such a situation, show some empathy at least, not just speak Italian amongst themselves and shrug their shoulders.
30 degrees in a room is simply not acceptable, end of story. Such a room could not be given to guest, it is uninhabitable, impossible to sleep inside. Great to know the guest last week was complaining that it was too cold... So I guess it was not only me that had a bad experience.
Chasing profit and full occupancy is all well and good, but only if the conditions in the rooms are appropriate. You should leave such a room empty next time until you find a way to get the temperature under control. This is unacceptable!

The lady on check in was very nice and helpful.
My daughter who is 14, got locked out of the bedroom. We were in the restaurant and told her go to reception. The man on duty in reception was rude started laughing and spoke about her to his colleague in Italian. He wanted €5.00 for a replacement key. His colleague gave my daughter the Key.

Great location especially for those driving as it is has a free parking lot out of ZTL Zone, and bus to city center right in front. Only complaint is mosquitoes staff super friendly especially at breakfast.

Breakfast good a bit overcrowded becasue of gorups but staff excellent
room clean and spacious. missing a cofffe machine or a kettle
bathroom good but the bath tubs may be dangerous for seniors and a bit on the narrow size
the room was rather cold but it is not the Hotel fault (it is a city ordinance)
parking is a plus in Florence

Good hotel..nice breakfast and cozy rooms. Swimming pool is excellent and kid friendly.
Wifi. Network was bad. Youtube couldn't stream even a single video properly. Bathroom slippers were missing for a 4 star hotel. And breakfast could have more variety.
