Mauro nos recibió muy bien, se preocupó de coordinar la llegada y nos mostró en un mapa la ubicación de los lugares importantes con respecto al alojamiento. La habitación estaba muy linda, limpia y el aire acondicionado fue perfecto para la ola de calor de los días de la estadía. Dentro de la habitación había un hervidor, distintos té para poder tomar, tazas y vasos.
El alojamiento queda cerca del centro histórico si se quiere caminar y también tiene buen alcance de locomoción si toca mucho calor o se anda muy cansada.
Las camas podrían ser un poco más cómodas.

Location right outside the Porta Romana, very close to Palazo Pitti and public parking in front of Porta Romana 2 minutes from the apartments. We rented 3 apartments. Mauro was excellent, very responsive and gave us a lot of good tips about restaurants in the area.

The room was very clean and cozy, matching the pictures exactly. We stayed in the room with the small balcony, which was very cute and perfect for a picnic lunch/dinner. There is a small fridge in the room. This was exactly what we needed for our trip to Florence!
There are a few small elements that we did not love: the locks were a bit tricky to figure out; the bathroom/shower were quite small; and the stairway up to our room was very dark when we came back at night. We had to use our phone flashlights to get up. These are relatively minor issues though.

Good quality/price ratio. The host was very nice, very convenient location if you need to be on the South side of Florence.
Do not expect a terrace on the Boboli garden, which is 500m away. The room could use some refreshing; there isn't a table or a place to work except the bed; the Wi-fi is unreliable, too. The minibar wasn't working; unfortunately, I discovered it after I bought grocery and had to throw away a lot of fresh stuff.

Excellent communication and support from the owner who also provided great recommendations for visiting the area. A garage for parking was also available at a good rate. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
A set of opaque curtains for keeping the room darker would have been nice, but the ones there were fine.

The owner was attentive and arranged parking for our car. In Florence you can't drive into the center.
At a glance the apartment is the same as in the pictures, but it has long needed a major renovation. The air conditioner did not work properly. The view from the window was terrible. And in the small room where my children slept there were a huge number of ants that bit them and did not let them sleep.

Mauro greeted us, explained everything: restaurants, bus routes, gelato places. He was kind and curious. Whenever we needed anything, I’d message him and he would answer immediately. The AC was a life saver in the heat wave Florence had while we were there. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Close to excellent pizzeria and bar and pleasant walk into the centre of Florence (15 minutes). Mauro kept in touch by WhatsApp and was helpful with information on the local busses to the train station when we left.

It can’t be classified as a hotel. It is only a bedroom with a bathroom where you can spend 2-3 nights, fair enough to go out all the day and come back to have a shower and sleep.
There is no clear sign for the name of the place outside. It is in an apartment in a residence building. The entrance is gloomy.
