Right next to the Duomo, we heard & saw the bells ring from our room, just magical. The decor is luxe and the rooms are generously appointed. The beds were the most comfortable we experienced in Italy.
A few staff were short and curt. Our towel heater wasn’t working and they said it will from 6am to 8am every morning. When ours didn’t work, I called again and I was blown off like it was no big deal. She finally asked someone and said that they don’t turn them on this time of year. That was a big inconvenience since I had some clothes hand washed that I ended up having to pack up wet.
When we came back later to get our bags, I was denied use of the bathroom.

Everything went very well. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in answering questions, calling taxis, giving information and advice about Florence, and more. The bar and Happy Hour was fantastic with a great bartender and excellent snacks. Breakfast was one of the best we have seen in Europe. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was great and kept well stocked with toiletries and towels. Having daily refilled waters and snacks in the room for no extra charge was an unexpected and very welcome bonus. The location of the hotel was unbeatable. Essentially everything we wanted to visit (museums, restaurants, markets, etc.) was within a 10-15 minute walk in some direction.
No suggestions for improvement.

The hotel is nicely built (or recently remodeled), very well maintained and conveniently located. It has a small observatory deck with a 360 deg view of the city. The staff is professional, polite and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious, with high ceilings and plenty of space to move around. The included breakfast buffet is exceptional. It was well worth it.

We loved everything about this place! From the moment we arrived until we left, everyone was super courteous.
They have a lot of perks for the guests from free champagne, happy hour and amazing breakfast. Facility is well maintained in a fabulous location.
I wish we stayed here longer.

The staf was so nice, the breakfast was amazing, the fruit was so fresh, the cakes fabulous. The view from our room, the hotel location.
This is our best stay during our trip. If we knew Florence is so beautiful we would stay longer. The room amazingly more than our expectation.
Thank you for the upgrade, i think you could felt how tires we were after we were stuck in our train from Pisa, your effort really recharge our energy for the next day. Unforgettable hotel for us.

Hotel Spadai is amazing and one that I highly recommend people book for their stay in Florence. The hotel is located less than one block from the Duomo, an 11 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, 6 minute walk to Piazza della Repubblica, and a 13 minute walk to Piazza de Santa Croce for their Christmas Market. My partner and I walked everywhere, except when going to the Pitti Palace when we took a taxi to make sure we did not get too tired. The room size was perfect for my partner and I. The room had a mini fridge that was refilled everyday with complimentary water (2 bottles natural and 2 bottles sparkling), beer, sodas and natural juices. We were greeted with a complimentary full bottle of Chianti upon arrival, as well as snacks. We also received a coupon for 2 free drinks at the bar, along with a buffet of delicious appetizers. The breakfast was SOOOOO good. There was a side selection of pastries, bread, baked goods, fruits, juices, coffee, and gluten free products. The staff at the hotel was wonderful. They helped us get a taxi at 6:45AM in order for us to get to the airport. I will be coming back to this hotel next time I am in Florence.

Bed was so comfortable. We slept like babies. Nice and quiet on our 3rd floor comfort room. Spacious accommodations. Stzff was pleasant and professional. Rewpally enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was delicious fresh fruits, homemade breads and pastries. Excellent cappuccino and fresh juices.

Bartender was amazing. Had the best Negroni ever. Liked the complimentary aperitivo buffet.
The spiral staircase to the observation deck was a nice surprise.

the breakfast was ok. a bit too much of a selection and just ok taste and ambiance. in my opinion, not worth the price!

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great. The breakfast was exceptional and they had several gluten free options for one of our family members. We had a family suite and it worked out perfectly for our family of four. Would highly recommend this hotel.
