While the hotel is old (old furniture) is very well maintain; location excellent -5 min from train station; the breakfast while simple was all you need.
Considering the age and maintenance, it is ok!

Staff not that friendly, one even stopped me from filling up my water bottle, said only one small glass per person and I needed a bit more to take my medicine later that night. Found that unnecessarily rude

Very well location, very closed to Duomo, main attractions an Central Station.
We have to leave our baggages close to the Front Desk, a little bit unsecured.
Small room and besides the elevator there were a lot of small stairs to get to the room
The breakfast room was very small and crowded and the chairs too big for the tables.
The shower courtain fell down
We can listen people talking in another rooms, poor privacy

Location was excellent
Two of the staff were lovely Leonardo and Oliver but Adrian was an absolute rude and arrogant person that should get a different job. He is not suited to hospitality at all. Wouldn’t even look up from the computer when asked basic questions. Would just grunt and point.

Perfect location. Close to Santa Maria Novella station. And few minutes from piazza Duomo The reception 24/7. Normal Italian breakfast. Vintage and nice hotel with clean rooms. Very good value for money.

Location was great for walking around to see the city attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The twin bed mattresses were hard uncomfortable per my children but full size be was good.

Great location, 1 block from train station, and yet a bit away from the torrent of tourists, 15 min walk to the Domo. Friendly personnel, breakfast was simple but with options, front desk managed 24 hrs.
Bathroom was tiny, shower was really small, I am 5-6, 143, and could hardly move inside.

Good central location, friendly staff, spacious rooms. There is a parking garage just 20 meters away. There is no bar at the hotel but there's a cafe around the corner where I was allowed to take two glasses of beer with me when I said that I'm staying at this hotel.
The minibar in the room wasn't cooling at all. Not a lot of choices for breakfast.

Location was very good - about ten minutes from the Duomo and - in another direction - about five minutes from the central market (and food hall). Also close to a tram stop for the airport. Staff were all very pleasant, and breakfast was fine - good coffee.
I booked eight months in advance (!) to get a reasonable price, but in the event was presumably downgraded to one of the more basic rooms (it doesn't feature in any of the photos). Everything worked (although my plug adapters didn't seem to suit all the sockets) and the shower was good. I had taken note of a previous review saying there was no kettle, so took my own!
