Very Poor
Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience at this hotel, and it is honestly the first time I find myself giving such a low rating.
The main issue was the lack of temperature control in the room. The air conditioning was fixed on heating mode, making the room uncomfortably hot to the point where it was difficult to breathe or sleep. While the hotel provided fans, they were ineffective against the stifling heat. Because the hotel is located on a main square, the street noise was far too loud to leave the windows open for fresh air.
Beyond the physical discomfort, I was extremely disappointed by the service. When I approached the front desk to discuss these issues, the staff member was unprofessional and raised his voice at me. Most disturbingly, despite me presenting my European passport, he began shouting about my Israeli identity in front of other guests. This felt unnecessary, personal, and left me feeling targeted and deeply uncomfortable.
The only positive I can mention is that the breakfast was decent, but it certainly doesn't compensate for the lack of basic comfort and the poor treatment by the staff. If you are looking for a pleasant and welcoming stay in Florence, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I will not be returning.

Great location — just a short walk from the station (we arrived from Rome). We had a beautiful view of the Piazza from our room. Everything was very clean and the staff were attentive and friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel itself has a charming antique style with beautiful interior decor.
Pillows could be better.

Great location easy to go everywhere. When you arrive from train it easy to come to hotel. I arrive about 12.30 reception give us key to check in and stay don’t need to wait until 2 pm for check in time. Breakfast are good not much but everything ok. If have some friend ask me where to stay? Hotel Roma are my recommend!!!!!

The perfect location close to almost everything in Firenze. A very easy walk from the train station. The staff was outstanding and catered to us like we were in there personal homes. A+.

The property is in a great location, within walking distance of major sights. The square is close to the train station and quite lively. Good places around to eat and wonderful ambience

One of the best 4 stars hotels I’ve experienced. The reception staffs were so kind and friendly. The lady in the reception welcomed me by Italian chocolates. As gift, I received the key of the room having view to the city. She also advised me for the best restaurant in the area. She also provided a voucher for a free drink in the hotel bar.
The room was perfect, clean, cosy and comfortable. A bottle of wine was on the table. I could set the curtains just by pushing a button near my bed.
The breakfast was very good, delicious pastries in different type were served.

Rooms old and noise from neighbors bathroom, breakfast buffet had old food and there was a fly in there, very small room to sit, at some times there is no where to sit. The only 4 star hotel with no coffee/tea maker. In general felt too expensive for what you get

To me this is more like a 3 star hotel. Not to what o had expected. The room bed was springy, the bathroom had mold and rusk around the fixtures. Conditioner was not provided. The beddings was thin and the accommodations for the snack bar was non.
I did not like that the room and the amenities was not was it showed. It does need updating and proper amenities for the room
