Excellent hotel, friendly and competent staff. Room amenities were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. All around a great experience.
I didn’t realize that the hotel was right around the corner from a tram stop from the main train station. Don’t make this mistake a transport luggage by foot.

We absolutely loved the vibe of this hotel, it felt very nostalgic and chic. As soon as you walked in the staff were always available and happy to assist. The breakfast buffet was amazing, my favorite part was the buttery croissants and the made to order a coffee menu. There’s also a small bar with a great bartender who suggested grappa for my husband who was a bit under the weather when we first arrived. They also have afternoon tea time with even more free goodies to enjoy before you head out for the evening.
Showering was a challenge as the temperature would change from hot to cold every few minutes. The hot was extremely hot so I had to step out from under it and vice versa when it got cold. I tried taking a tub bath but it was a challenge to move around (I’m 65 and never take tub baths) because the tub is not wide or standard US size.

The hotel is a quaint boutique establishment located just minutes from the train station. Also within walking distance to the Central Market. Hotel staff are great and attend to your needs during your stay. Bryan at the front desk speaks good English, and Jeff handles a variety of tasks, including breakfast and tea service in the afternoon from 4-6 pm.
Great hotel. It is small and on the perimeter of the downtown local tourist areas. There is nothing bad about this hotel. Don't let the map fool you into thinking it is too far away from walking. Also, it is a short walk to the Accademia Gallery of Florence, where the David statue is located.

I can’t say enough about how amazing and beautiful this boutique hotel is!! I stayed at this hotel in Florence a few nights and they were so accommodating. Following my two night in Florence I left for five days to Spain. The staff was friendly and absolutely the best!!! Before my flight to Spain I asked them to reserve a taxi for me in the evening to take me to the airport. They were very happy to do that but advised me that just around the corner is the tram for only a few euros and this inexpensive tram conveniently will take me to train station and airport. It was perfect! When I returned back to Florence after my trip to Spain they greeted me back to the hotel like I was family! It was the most hospitable and warm welcome I could ever imagine!! I will only stay at this hotel while in Florence. The breakfast is amazing and the afternoon tea is also an amazing spread included in our room cost!

Staying at this little gem of a hotel is like coming to your home in Florence. From our arrival, being greeted by Rino with such warmth and detail, and the attentiveness we received from all the staff throughout our stay made us feel at home, especially for a family of 3 (including a toddler). The room has all the necessities you need, and the breakfast choice includes scrambled eggs, salami, iberico, greens, breads, jam and all types of coffee as requested. We also received personal recommendations for nearby restaurants and they didn’t disappoint. Will definitely come back here for a relaxing stay in Florence.
