A room with no windows, located close to the reception desk, with no soundproofing. Very expensive for such a low standard of service.

Location was excellent, bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and spacious, everything is very clean, and it was nice to open up the windows. The breakfast was excellent.
The only drawback is you cannot adjust the room temperature in the room yourself. You have to go down to the front desk and tell them what you want the temperature set to even if you want to change it up or down by 1°.

The hotel is an easy walk from the train station. It is on a quiet street, near many food options. Walking to the sites is simple (though prepare for narrow criss-crossing streets.)The room was surprisingly large for Europe.
Nothing… except the exceptionally loud family staying next door. The really is a great spot.

Very good breakfast, very clean room (although a bit smaller than expected), and very nice and supportive staff. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable hotel in good location with all sites only 10 mins away. Perfect for tram to airport and trains for trips to other cities.
Perfect choice for continental breakfast.
Couple of small things. Coffee and shampoo not refilled without asking. Front door needs a card reader as we were locked out a few times and had to ring bell to get in.

Beautiful, traditional hotel in a great location - near to the station, but on the quieter end of a very interesting road lined with restaurants & bars. The quality of the room was lovely & we were appreciative that as it was our 40th wedding anniversary, we had been allocated a special double with its own private balcony! The staff were all friendly & helpful & the breakfast was delicious. We loved it!

Close to train station and main sites (Duomo Cathedral). Nice breakfast, friendly staff, big room, cleaned daily, felt safe.
The only negative was the smell on occassion coming from the bathroom drains (but this is everywhere throughout Florence I think).
