Location was good, easy to find, payment was smooth, bed was comfy, free wifi.
No plug by the bed, only plug available i could find was for the lamp on the table. No kettle for tea etc. (or hot compresses)

We stayed at Hotel Palazzuolo in October 2025 for 3 nights and 4 days and have no complaints about the property. It is very close to the train station and is a good location to reaching quite a few of the sites in Florence by walking.
When we first arrived I became disheartened because there was no elevator and the property is on the second floor. This was quickly alleviated because the owner helped with our luggage. My wife had took a fall earlier in the trip and was difficult for her to manage the stairs with luggage.
The staff, upon checking in, were superb and very helpful. Our room was adequate for two people and was very clean. The private bathroom was large for some of the places I had stayed previously in Italy. The staff would clean the room at 10 in the morning so you were not rushed to get going for the day. Our 3rd day there my wife was not feeling well and elected to stay in. I told the staff and they were accommodating and asked if there was anything they could do. I was impressed with this property for the cost of the room, the location, but most importantly the staff. I highly recommend this property.

Unbelievable value in Florence. Bed and room are comfortable, clean and easy. Location is amazing for how much you’re paying. There is always someone in the entrance watching the door, and the staff is kind and easy to communicate with.
If you’re not comfortable carrying a heavy bag up a tall and narrow flight of stairs you may have some trouble.
I stayed in the dreaded room 21, which apparently has an evil lock,but the staff was very helpful when my door wouldn’t open.

Loved the location, the terrace, the room was good, nothing fancy. It was only a few blocks to the river with beautiful views! Close to laundry, cafe and nail salon ? everything we needed. Short walk to Duomo and other great sites.
The initial stairs, no elevator. Bus system wasn't awesome.

The room was spacious and had its own entrance from the street. They let me check in late (11:45pm). They allow dogs of all sizes.
My room had its own bathroom which smelled really bad. Luckily there was a shared bathroom upstairs. The beds are super soft. The floors were dirty.

The staff were very kind, especially the man and lady in the reception. They were very helpful. We did early check in, they directly arranged a empty room for us. Even we early check out the other day, they kindly accepted to hold our luggage almost half of the day.

I loved this place. Don't judge it by the exterior gate... inside it is pretty modern and spacious. The rooms are spotless, the air conditioner works perfectly, the little balcony/indoor courtyard attached to my room was very cute. Even though the bathroom was outside the room itself and in principle 'shared', not once did I find it occupied by someone else. The staff are very courteous and the cleaning service is excellent. Highly recommend these shared-bathroom-rooms for value for money.

It was a good location to train station.
Rooms extremely small. No lobby. Skinny long flight of stairs up to get to office. Then a Skinny long flight of stairs up to get to room. No elevator. Extremely hard to carry luggage up. Not good for seniors.

Location was fantastic, near the train station and a walk to the city attractions. Spotlessly clean. Got to check in early when we went just to drop off our luggage. Got our own toilet/shower.
The mattress was too soft.
