The only problem we had is that the air conditioning unit didn’t work. Someone came to look at it and couldn’t figure out. He was supposed to look up the user manual and come back but he never did. Tried to sleep with window opened but there were mosquitoes, so not the most restful night. Everything se was great.

The hotel, though not in the historic district, is a short walk to everything. It’s very clean and comfortable.

We are traveling with a large dog who is calm and does not damage the room, but this can sometimes be tricky with the staff and room size, which is why we always book one of the largest rooms. Everything was fine here. I noticed the staff right away, and the girl at the reception was absolutely kind and professional. The hotel is in an older building, but everything was clean and there was no unpleasant smell. The breakfast was excellent. The park for walking the dog is about 400 meters in the direction of the river, and the walk along the river was very nice.

The property was in a good location.
The night staff was incredibly rude when we first arrived and did not give us any indication on parking which was meant to be included in the stay. The privacy was very limited as our deluxe apartment was only separated by a stanchion from the other guests, which many people crossed and walked into our “private” space. The Jacuzzi was also broken on multiplications, which was the reason we booked this stay… we got to use it 2 nights out of the 6 we booked.

The location was good.
When I booked this hotel, it said parking was available. A month before arrival, I reconfirmed with the hotel and they said yes. Even on WhatsApp, the day before, I asked again and was told, “we’ll figure it out when you get here.”
When I arrived, the door was locked and the only instructions were two phone numbers—neither of which anyone answered. Instead, a man from the hotel across the street (Hotel Jane) came out, yelled at me to call the number, and when I explained no one was answering, he told me to follow him across the street to check in there. He never explained that the two hotels were connected, and he was extremely rude during check-in.
He then told me to move my car and find street parking. The next morning, a lady from the actual hotel told me I could park right in front—completely contradicting what he said. Every night afterward, the same man came out and yelled at us again.
Overall, the parking was very misleading, the check-in process was confusing, and the staff member from across the street was consistently rude.
I specifically booked this suite at this hotel because it included a Jacuzzi. The suite was much more expensive than the standard rooms and I was happy to pay for it, but very disappointed when I was told the Jacuzzi is broken, with no plans to be fixed. The next morning my husband explained that the jacuzzi is the reason we booked this suite and we would love it if they could fix it. Nothing was getting done so we translated the message to Italian and finally they decided to do something. One of the cleaning ladies grabbed a hose and added hot water to it and “fixed it”.
Every day when we came back to our room it was cleaned: they made the bed and left towels. The floors were never swept.
I’m in the hospitality business myself and this would be unacceptable at any hotel never mind one that is trying to pose as luxury. Mistakes happen and I understand that but there was never an apology for anything just looks of annoyance.

Clean hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff.
Other rooms were very loud throughout the day and night. Whenever the water got turned on in another room it would be very loud in our room. It sounded like someone was using a drill throughout the night. Other than that the hotel was nice.
