Location was superb in proximity to train station and historic centre. The cleanliness of facilities and continental breakfast were excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good cafes and restaurants outside the door.
There is no lift so must be able to take stairs and carry luggage.

The location is excellent and approx 600m from the train station as well as the tourist areas. The hosts were accommodating enough for our requests. Though the breakfast is very basic, something is better than nothing :-)
The bolts on the entrance door and in the bathroom were broken. The AC was at 24 and we cant change temperature in the cold. I compensated by adding layers.

Clean and convenient. Close to the train and sights and js right in the heart of the action. Good food (literally out the door) and shopping. Staff was very helpful including carrying bags up the stairs. I was a solo woman traveler, and I felt very safe. Never been to Italy before. The room was quiet and I enjoyed hearing the rain on the roof tiles. Breakfast was more than enough. Would definitely recommend. Bed was firm and extra large twin. Perfect-o place to crash after sightseeing.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, centrally located. Nice and clean with the facilities we needed
Unfortunately, loud noises are a problem at the hotel. There is a lot of noise (music, voices, traffic, construction work) coming from the street, which is very busy due to the restaurants. However, the main problem is the noise within the hotel, which can be very disturbing, especially in the evening af during the night. The rooms are not isolated very well, which means you can clearly hear noises from other guests, e.g. every time someone slams doors, uses the bathroom, talks or laughs etc. It would be great if the hotel staff would inform guests upon arrival to stay as quiet as possible during the evening and night time.

The location, breakfast and staff were great!
The shower and bathroom are very small and the room was dark because the shutters/ windows couldnt really be opened on street level. Fairly pricy for the quality.

The location was amazing for a solo traveler! Everything I traveled to Florence to see was within a 5-20 minute walk. No transportation needed. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Tons of shops eateries outside the front door. A 5-8 minute walk from the main train station. You do have to leave your room key at the front reception desk when you depart for the day. This was fine with me as it was a bit clunky and another thing to keep up with.
There was no lift/elevator. Staff did assist with taking one of my bags to the top floor. The noise level within the hotel-guest doors opening and closing and stairwell echo were constant. Breakfast was pre positioned on table where other diners sit and possibly talk, cough over it. My suggestion would be to keep it in a closed container for guests to grab when they are ready. I did see gnats and flies flying around. Bathrooms could use a deep clean once a month.

I like the location: close to trainstation, close to city center, all you need (shops, bars, ristorants) very close. The breakfast was simple but tasty and it was enough. No problem with stuff, very kind and helpfull.
Some other guest was very noise during the night, I would expect that staff should do something about it. And there are probably very thin walls, because I heard noise from from the hallway, room doors are very noisy

Wish we had more time!! The restaurants were close and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go! Get your Duomo tickets ahead as the lines are long! Perfect location!
