The property was pretty.
Before we booked, we reached out to the property directly to inquire about transportation to the city center as this property was on the outskirts, and we did plan on spending a couple of days in Florence city center. We were told there was a hotel shuttle to a nearby bus. Upon our arrival, we were told that the shuttle was seasonal, and therefore closed. It was near impossible to get a taxi or Uber who were willing to drive that far from city center. When we did manage to get somebody to pick up our ride, the cost was $50 or more adding quite a bit of unexpected expense to our trip. Additionally, we booked this particular property because of its location outside of the city and the beautiful views. We were hoping to enjoy some downtime, relaxing in the countryside. Once we got there, we discovered that other than eight plastic chairs for the entire facility. All of the outdoor lounge spaces had been closed up for the season. We were told it was too cold to swim, and therefore everything had been put away. The daytime temperatures were about 65 to 70° so perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful countryside. However, the only place for us to sit was in our rooms or in the lobby. Our group alone was eight people so between the transportation issues and not being able to enjoy the views of the property. It was pretty disappointing. The other thing to consider is no restaurants or coffee, shops nearby other than the restaurant in the hotel. If you have picky eaters, this can be problematic, unless you can get a taxi to take you elsewhere. We mentioned our disappointment about not being able to relax in the outdoor spaces and had hoped that some of the outdoor furniture would be put back out but that never happened.

Private patio over looking the Arno was so nice after our long stay in the center area.
The spa was beautiful and relaxing.
A short shuttle ride back to the center if you wish. Fantastic property to relax.
Our foot massages the night before boarding a 13 hour flight was a welcomed experience.
Also need to mention the pastry chef who made such interesting desserts.
Located on main road so be careful if walking to trails or town.

The actual hotel was absolutely lovely, very tranquil,lovely decor ,good feel .Huge shout out to reception guy, not sure what was his name, he check us in and checked out, he was super helpful and the waiter guy with black curly longish hair, he was absolutely lovely and super helpful to me and my other half, place gets better score because of these 2 guys.
BEDROOM , spoiled the stay. When I have booked it was only available classic room and a few other similar rooms, I thought I was booking different room. It was super cold and just unappealing , beautiful river Arno view tho, in the evening and morning was sooo ridiculously cold , when asked girl at the reception if there is any way heating can be turned on , she said it's not aloud until mid month or something, didn't suggested heater or anything, so we where absolutely freezing first night and had thoughts of leaving hotel as this was unacceptable, on the second night I have complained to reception guy who was very understanding and given us heater, it made it more comfortable but still feeling in the room wasn't pleasant and spoiled half of our stay in Florence, unfortunately.Also, shuttle bus drops people off a bit too far from the city center,and taxi's are absolute extortion, from 25 euros to 80( we paid that twice when couldn't get normal taxi) so best to rent out car if you are planning staying outside the city .

The hospitality was exceptional. We brought our 1 year old on his first trip abroad and they made us feel like family. The property was spectacular and immaculately maintained. We enjoyed walking around the grounds taking in its beauty. The location was great if you intend to rent a car and stay right outside the ztl. Every person in the staff in every position were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were so happy to see that they enjoyed our toddler staying there as well. We had a couple of nights where our toddler was not feeling well, so we ordered room service from the restaurant and it was amazing. We can't wait to return and we are thankful for the memories.

Very luxurious, loved the private sauna/steam room that could be booked. The jacuzzi bathtub was amazing and the staff were wonderful. Location was a bit out of the way but way able to get into Florence in about 20 minutes via electric scooter. Shuttle bus was available but I had to leave for school before it started up so didn’t get to try. View from my room was lovely over the Arno, especially the sound of the river at night time.

Beautiful river setting. Loved spa, pool, bedroom, breakfast / restaurant room were also lovely. Hotel smelled gorgeous. Staff helpful. Ample car parking. We enjoyed the location with it being out of the busy city.
Bar not staffed very well. Cocktail ingredients ran out which was inconvenient given the hotel's location. Drinks very price. Shuttle bus handy for the daytime, but no evening buses. I think they finished around 7pm which isn't great for evening meal in Florence. We walked home at 10pm on several occasions and it felt / was safe. Also taxi rank near train station in Florence

Room was amazing and the staff were really helpful with any query we had about the place. 1 hour free use of the spa facilities which included a steam room and dry sauna. The food was excellent as well as the service.
Abit to far from central florance but there was a shuttle running but not till late evening so if you wanted a dinner out in the city it's an expensive taxi back to the hotel.

Having visited this hotel before, I was hoping to use the Hotel's bus/shuttle. Due to 'Tram line 3' roadworks, the shuttle stopped quite a way short of the town centre, so we had to revert to taxis! This was a surprise, and from what I could see, could have gone further towards the city centre. As it costs €5 per head, with four passengers, a taxi works out fairly cost effective.
A few more in room drink options would be nice, although the complimentary water was appreciated!

Like- Staff at the reception, housekeeping were very helpful/polite. I had great conversations with all at the front desk and Joseph who initially helped us with our luggage.
We travelled with our 4 month old boy and Joseph/ Fabios from front desk made everything seamless.
City shuttle is a great tool to take if you visiting this property but it does stop 26 to 30 minutes away from the attractions or cafes.
Room- Brilliant with breathtaking views of the dam and the river.
Clean and very comfortable.
The classic room had very small shower spaces, if you’re a 6 foot you will struggle getting in and out.
Mosquitoes- take repellents as they are plenty due to the stagnant water that runs parallel to the hotel. Ask for a mosquito repellent machine, the hotel will very kindly provide one FOC.
On our last day we went for a tour during the late evenings and the restaurant staff upstairs were not very polite in letting us have a tour of the outdoor deck.
Bar- Great staff and very helpful as they opened our own wine bottles.
Spa and Sauna was closed reason being unknown.
Pool - closed due to the recent flooding in Firenze.
