Kind and friendly staff
・Great location, close to the airport
・A nice café in the hotel that stays open until midnight
It could be a little cleaner
(This hotel has a real vintage feel, and the building itself is quite old. So, if you’re looking for a modern, new hotel, this might not be the place for you. But if you like old-fashioned charm, it’s actually quite fun and gives you a nice taste of vintage Italy. I enjoyed the atmosphere.)

Close to airport
Plumbing in our bathroom didn't work. Toilet did not flush in the morning.
Shower had NO cold water so you couldn't shower without being scalded.
Wall light broken and desk lamp broken.
Mattress was only about 16" off the floor and like a box spring, not a mattress.
Lobby smelled like a sewer!

Hotel has hidden its bad reviews on this site. We checked Google at the last minute to see tales of fleas, dirty water and other problems. Travelling with a baby, we could not risk this. We asked for a refund but were denied. We did not stay there. Do not recommend.

I chose this hotel because it is close to the airport. This is the only positive quality it has.
The first thing I noticed was the unattractive exterior. It is an old building and the interior, including the rooms, do not appear to have been updated, ever. There was a strange odor in the hallway and in my room. The best description is a sweet mold smell. The carpeting is atrocious. I did not walk barefoot on it for fear of getting foot fungus. The walls and ceiling are very thin. I had the pleasure of listening to a family with young children screaming and running in the room above me. I was also given a handicap room, which has happened at other hotels in the past when I’ve booked through Booking.com.

There is a lounge and an outdoor seating area. The breakfast was good, there was a good selection of breakfast food. Dinner at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. They were able to accommodate gluten free
It's incredibly noisy. The walls are not soundproof. We could hear toilets flushing and people talking.

We got to the room and the first thing I said was “well kids, hotels are smaller in Europe!” 3 beds in a small space with a bathroom. The air conditioner was mediocre at best. Thankfully we only stayed one night. It got the job done to have 2 adults and 2 kids in one room but overall it was nothing special at all. Just a room with 3 beds, white walls, and some Italian TV stations. This room is right out of the movie European Vacation.

Room size, it had balcony, parking space, close to airport.
Its actually not real 4 star. Old, i learned that someone bough and changed the hotel name. Breakfast very poor, grape was on the table not on the plate. Restaurant floor in the breakfast was dirty, and no one takes. Quality of some food was not fresh. Hotel area is not safe, already grabbed some attention to my watch while was walking around.

Disappointing
Parking in Florence is anything but easy and the hotel has its own included in the price.
It was decently clean.
There is nothing in the neighborhood, and the hotel's bar was closed for the whole time of our stay night and day. Rooms don't even have the most minimal amenities like water, or something to boil water, a tea, anything at all.
In the lobby there is an automatic coffee machine, but at 11:30pm it was off and the staff indicated that to have anything to drink we would have to wait till the morning for the buffet breakfast.
To the price you have to add 7 euro per person per night for the city tax: it's expensive because it's the price for 4 stars hotels, but this hotel is 4 stars only on paper as I've hardly had a worse stay in 1-2 stars ones.
Air conditioning was extremely loud, doors all around our room kept batting all night long and together with the bathrooms we woke up multiple times. The shower didn't work: the head was like needles, and it was impossible to set an appropriate water temperature.

We liked to have a triple room and free parking space for out car.
The hotel needs a deep cleaning! When you enter the hotel you feel a bad odor. The room did not have that odor, but the curtains were dirty. The bed was ok. The toilet bowl pump was not working. And the bath tub drain needs cleaning. It was pooling water when you were having bath. Breakfast was rich enough but the area needs cleaning as well. There were spider webs above us. A spider jumped over my husband’s head at the breakfast table.

I didn't given an excellent rating only because the hotel is older and there was a funny odor when you walked in. The odor didn't carry through the hotel. It was just at the entrance and I thought maybe if was because there is a huge oriental rug that may be harboring that smell. Anyway the staff was amazing and extremely helpful and friendly. They were also very accommodating. The location is just a 5 mind drive from the airport which is why we stayed there. Getting into the heart of Florence is also very easy but that takes around 20-30 mins. The hotel was vey clean and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was very small but no biggie. The breakfast included with the rate was okay. Overall great location to stay if you are just arriving or flying elsewhere.
Although the breakfast was included it wasn't was I would say as high quality in comparison. The odor when you first walk in and not pleasant but the staff made up for all that.

Close to the airport as advertised.
However, bookings showed an airport shuttle which was not available and apparently hasn't been for a long time. Please take that off the website. I had to pay $22 dollars for a cab to the airport and no offer of reimbursement from the hotel. They simply said , Oh we don't offer that anymore.
