I liked only the location
The room. The window didn't close properly and we were freezing. The dusch cabine was too small. No hangers were in the corridor. The towels were of the worst material I have ever seen.

I was a bit worried after I booked this place and read reviews but it was outstanding. I have lived in Italy 4 years and have stayed in Florence 6 times now and I’ll continue to book this place. The rooms here clean the staff was kind and the valet parking was perfect!! The front desk lady was very find and informative. Easily my top ten hotels in Italy! We don’t stay luxury and I always try to stay around 250 a night. The bathrooms were so clean and everything I needed in Florence was right at my finger tips.
No complaint from me but we used to stairs because the elevator was always slammed from the roof top bar. To me it was really no bother but if your handicapped it may be difficult but let’s be honest that’s a lot of the EU.

There was a smell in the bathroom but it seems that the smell is throughout bathrooms in Florence and not the fault of the property. Old pipes I guess.

Hotel has a great rooftop with amazing views and a good coffee
There was no wifi connection in my room. Asked to fix it but nothing changed…. Maybe they needed more time i only stayed 1 night.

The room is exactly like the pictures. Bathroom, room and bed were very clean and it was overall a very very good stay. The walls are a bit thin so you may hear other guest moving around in the hallway more than you'd like but it's a worth it trade off for the price and the rest of the stay.
Could here through the walls into the hallway at night but still okay.

Location amazing, bed comfy, shower/bathroom nice (renewed + clean), room kinda small but you are not asking for a lot given the location so cannot consider this a real negative, check-in staff friendly in general and in accommodating early arrival.
No minifridge or coffee/tea apparatus of any sort in room. Just nice to have these so mornings can be a little calmer and so one doesn't have to dodge tourist traps eating out every meal.

The front desk staff was horrible, especially one of the ladies with a short haircut. The rooms didn't have proper windows, so the room was very noise and there were a lot of mosquitos.

Location of charging outlets.
Actual size of room should be listed on description. If I was staying longer I would have needed to change rooms or hotel’s.
Room should have been maintained in an ongoing bases. Scuff marks on walls should be painted or clean. Just looked dated.
Shower was smaller than an interior cabin of a cruise ship.

This hotel will stay with me until my old age. I fully did not expect to have a balcony overlooking the Duomo, directly from my bedroom. It felt like an absolute fairytale.
Plus upstairs is a very popular bar which you can get some nice cocktails from, literally a few stairs away from your room, so convenient!
Everybody was terribly nice and I couldn't have asked for a better stay!
