It is very close to santa maria train station and very close to famuse locations
First of all, there was an immediate sewage smell. The place we booked looks very different from the pictures. There is some kind of leather on top of the bed, and it smells extremely bad—I woke up several times because of it. Breakfast is included, but it’s not worth it. The towels were dirty as well. Think twice before booking, as even an average hostel would be better than this place.

Location, cleanliness and staff were perfect. Fridge in a room. Close distance to the Santa Maria del Fiore, Santa Maria Novella, Basilica St. Lorenzo And the central train station was very convenient. Just next door there is lovely bar "vero amore" with very friendly staff, good place for a last drink before sleep.
There was only one thing, despite of using A/C there was very hot in a room, only opening the window was a solution (in second half of March).

Location is great near train station and most tourist spots staff so friendly

Very convenient location in the heart of Florence, walking distance from the train station and all of the major visitor sites.
Very clean and spacious room, particularly nice bathroom and breakfast although continental was lovely, plenty of choice and the breakfast lady was great. Topping up everything regularly

The location was good.
The room was completely different from the one we had booked. It was not comfortable at all. The mattress and pillows on the bed were not comfortable at all. To get to the room we had to walk to two different buildings and take two different elevators, tiring and complicated. The building smelled bad. The breakfast was one of the worst I have ever had in my life.

This hotel is very traditional and is located in a beautiful old building in the heart of Florence only 5 minutes from the main railway station.
Our stay was very nice a smooth efficient check in process and a lovely vintage style room. Felt like i was in a 1960s italian movie! But not in a bad way!
Staff were lovely and the hotel itself feels very classy.
Their was abit of a stale smell in the halls probably because of the age of the building but i struggled with it. However this is probably because of the age and no fault of the hotel whatsoever.
Handing in the key everytime you go out of the building at reception felt abit odd.

A great hotel in a good location, a short walk from the railway station and all the major landmarks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size with a decent bathroom. Breakfast very good and served in a beautiful room, hotel full of character as well.
