The location is beautiful and easily accessible.
The staff exceeded all expectations. Friendly & efficient.
The patio on the second floor quickly became our favorite spot.

Perfect location, right on the river, but away from the busy area of Florence. We had a balcony overlooking the river and enjoyed coffee/wine and just watching the sunset! Perfect stay in Florence.

Best hotel for short stay in Florence. Rare ancient building of Russian Maecenas converted into a hotel. We were enjoying our stay form first minute with free prosecco at reception.

My family has been coming to this historic property for 8 decades. This visit, the first for me since the beautiful renovation, was the experience of a lifetime.
I can’t think of a thing. It is a glorious place. The staff is remarkable.

The hotel was excellent. The desk staff were so helpful and the room very comfortable. The terrace overlooking the Arno was fantastic.
The hotel is fairly isolated—in a very upscale neighborhood but with very few restaurants or shops nearby.
The terrace lacked a fly screen, and given it is right on the river, I was covered in mosquito bites by morning.

The location was perfect as it was nice and quiet on the river. The complimentary drink in the room made our trip extra special also. The rooms were spacious and the beds extremely comfortable too. The staff, particularly Jacopo and Heitor went above and beyond!

We were a bit concerned a bit about the location, a bit off the tourist center of Florence, but in the end this was one of the best aspects of this hotel! The area is very silent and peaceful, there are nice restaurants and cafes very close by. The building is impressive, the breakfast room is amazing, you feel you are back in the 17th century :) Everything was working properly, the staff are amazing! We would surely return here! Grazie per tutto!
An armchair in the room would have been a nice addition after the long walks :)
