Location! Just a few minutes walk to Accademia gallery and the cathedral. From the reviews on booking.com of last few years, they have definitely improved it seems in terms of decor and other facilities in the room which is a good thing. The room is quite spacious for European standards
Bathroom is too small, specially the shower area. Even for us lean folks, it was cramped.
The bathroom door handle makes so much noise when the door is opened or closed.
The room was on the side facing the street so noise from there was an issue on certain nights.

It was in the middle of the city. You can go around easily and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The bfast was also good.
The lamps of our room is dirty. The bed was squeaky. The wifi was not working too well. There were flies flying around the lamp and room.
There was a night that the air-condition was hot while we were sleeping. But fix immediately after several hours.

The location is great. Is quiet, like 4 blocks to the piazza del Duomo. Beautiful place. Is near of the train station, 20 minutes walking.

Excellent location very close to the cathedral. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good - possibly the best I have had in a hotel.
Florence is very noisy so don't expect a completely quiet room. It was fine with the windows closed and there is air con.

Location was perfect and size of room was great!
Didnt like having to walk up a small flight of stairs to the lift. And no staff offered to help.
