Wonderful
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent very close to the train station and also just a short walk from the Duomo. The rooms are extremely clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. They also offered free luggage storage, which was very convenient.

Staff was very friendly and communicative. The location also is amazing, walking distance to train station and duomo.
the only thing didn't really like is that when flushing the toilet, it takes time before we can flush again. but other than that, everything else was great.

The hotel's location was pretty good, it is only 7 minute walk from galleria dell'accademia. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Nothing at all.
The hotel was far from station as advertised. The roads connecting the hotel with the neighborhood are paved with small pebble rocks that makes it difficult to move your luggages. Mine broken on the way to the hotel. The pedestrian pavements leading to the hotel are too narrow and packed with restaurants. It took me ages to get from the train station to the hotel under this difficult condition. The building is with elevator but it was too small and just enough for one person with luggage.
Literally speaking, it was not a hotel but rather a hostel with individual rooms ran by a family. The room was of acceptable size but the beds are with bed bugs! It was advertised that the room was air-conditioned and an air-conditioner existed in the room but the "hotel" staff kept the remote control from you. It was like 20+ degree during my stay and super sunny, I could hardly breath when I returned to the room.
I talked to the "hotel" staff on this issue but he just pacified me by coming to my room and open the windows as well as blinds for me. He asked me to stay near the windows and it would keep me cool. Yet, it was super noisy even at night time how was I supposed to sleep with the window open? My situation has been so bad that I kept sweating in the room even with the windows open and a breathing condition started to develop. The "hotel" staff finally passed me the remote control after negotiation for more than 30 minutes.
I visited in early Oct and it was not even in the winter months, barring residents with air-conditioning is totally unacceptable and unusual for "HOTEL"s.

Location was near the train station, Mercato Centrale with multiple food options, and walkable to main attractions of florence. Room was clean and comfortable as well. Air conditioning was not provided during our stay in October due to the weather which was alright given the temperature.
The TV remote was ?lost/not available. While there is a 24h reception available, the hotel requires guests to leave their keys with reception when we leave - convenient for us as we had one less thing to carry/worry about losing, but not sure how safe it may be if a stranger decides to retrieve keys for your room at reception given there was no need for identity verification

Location was great, very close to major city attractions and railway station.
Rooms were very small. Also, drinking water was not available in hotel. Reception was very strict about using amenities at only certain time of the day. Hotel accepts only cash for city tax. Other hotels in Italy accepted by card.

Great location for exploring Florence by foot. Nice bathroom. Clean tidy room. Good sized mini fridge for multiple bottles of water and snacks. Just a few meters away from Osteria Il Basilico, Mercato Centrale, Pizza San Lorenzo.
A small tea kettle would have been nice.

Great walking distance to main train station and public transportation. Easy walk to Duomo, other museums, and great restaurants ? Facility was average at best, expensive for a basic room, but they allowed us to store luggage after we checked out to explore local attractions; very appreciated and convenient.
Facility is quite dated, VERY small elevator, and rooms are not well secured to prevent would-be intruders in a busy business location from gaining entry to floors where guests are staying. Although there's probably video surveillance, it's not apparent with casual walk-through. Limited availability to common kitchen and no refrigerator in our room. Okay crash pad but don't expect much.

It was clean
It is really noisy street so you can’t open the window. The venue probably was renovated ages ago. On the positive side it was clean in bathroom with a lot of towels and clean bedding.
Would not recommend it.

The hotel staff was responsive and accommodating. I requested a room with a balcony and had a lovely view of Florence and the Duomo. Room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot - very close to several restaurants and the Mercato Centrale.
Reception is on the 3rd floor (as are most of the rooms) - that is a lot of stairs or a trip in a very tiny elevator. It was not a problem for me - but for people with mobility issues - it would be good to know.
