Beautifully appointed hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance to all the major sites in Florence. The rooms were generously sized compared to others we’ve stayed in, in Italy. We ate in the restaurant on two nights and the food was excellent. Breakfast had a nice selection and was of good quality. The highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. From reception, to the restaurant staff at dinner, manager greeting us at breakfast and staff servicing the pool - the entire team was friendly and helpful. It really made the trip memorable.
Possibly have more shaded beds at the pool, given the heat in August.

Great hotel overall. Style is somewhat old-fashioned, just a matter of personal taste. Rooms were good and clean. AC was dealing well with the mid-July heat. The pool is great no matter how small it is. Shoes are recommended as the stones on the rooftop can get pretty hot.
Location: quite good in general. Especially good if you travel by train or car. The parking is a modern underground garage which fits also bigger cars easily and is just 5 mins walk away. Most sites of tourist interest are 20-30 mins walk away. The area is quite and walkable also at night.
Lovely staff as well, would certainly stay there again.

Boutique, style, location and staff . Food was excellent.
I love this property and have stayed there many times. This was our 40th wedding anniversary and was hoping to have a similar size room as per usual but unfortunately out room was much smaller but everything else was wonderful.

Really good breakfast. Quiet and our room had a nice balcony.
Location was perfect for us as we were only staying 1 night and is close to the train station. Bit far from the centre of Florence if you want to visit main attractions.

Felt there should be a better explanation of difference in bar area and restaurant. I could get pizza in the bar area , but could not order it int he restaurant area.

We enjoyed the rooftop pool and terrace. The bar service was excellent and the beds are comfy.
The pool closes early and then they don't allow people on the terrace at night which is extremely disappointing given that most people book this place for the view of Florence. Also, our AC would shut off every time we left the room and removed our key card. We requested another key card so we could leave the AC running while we were out. Even then, the room was almost too hot to be able to sleep comfortably but I understand that's normal when it's over 100 degrees outside.
