Good
Staff was friendly and helpful, great location
The elevator was out of service, too many steps to climb up to reception with suitcases, my family member has a bad knee so found it very difficult,
Room was a little tight for 3 adults
But location was great

Very Good
good location close to attractions, shopping, decent restaurants very near by, breakfast had good variety.
elevator out of service (but hotel's fault). Watch for errors by google maps - walked unnecessarily a few more miles during my stay.in florence.

Disappointing
The location is excellent. Right in the center of Florence and easy walking to everything. About a 15 minute walk to the train station. The reception staff when we arrived was friendly and welcoming, allowing us to check in early and explained the location of the bar and breakfast room. The breakfast was varied and the person working was very efficient.
No hot water for the first 36 hours or so of our stay, allegedly due to city utility work. Plenty of cold water but apparently the city must pipe in the hot water. After the first 36 hours I asked the desk staff about the water situation and was told it wasn't their fault. The weather was damp and humid and we both really would have appreciated a warm shower, especially for the price of the room.
Our room was cramped and crowded with nonfunctional furniture, like a clothes cupboard that could not be opened because it was blocked by the bed. The small TV was on top of another cupboard designed to hold a mini fridge without a mini fridge inside. No place in the bathroom to hang a towel. No hooks, no towel bar only a heated rack with the capacity to hold one bath towel that was installed over/on top of the light switch. Incredibly poor design. The mattress on the bed was worn and not comfortable.
The breakfast had one coffee machine and every morning of our three day stay guests were lined up to get a cup of weak machine espresso. The elevator can hold two people or one person and one suitcase. One day we witnessed a young woman with a stroller trying to use the elevator and she struggled quite some time to get herself and the stroller in the elevator. We used the stairs throughout our stay.

The location is perfect! Close to everything in Florence.
The elevator was broken. So many stairs. For someone with a bad knee, this hotel is not for you.
The rooms are so tiny, no place for the luggage. The breakfast was minimal.

The location is perfect
The first night, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room, so we didn’t have a good night’s sleep. Also, would it be good to have more options for breakfast

Wonderful
Great location, comfortable bed.
You have to leave the key in the front desk everytime you go outsite of the hotel. When i asked it back they don't check anything.

Wonderful
The location is excellent. The bonus is that there are 3 wonderful restaurants and a gelato shop steps away from the front door. The Duomo is only a few blocks away.
City stamps must be paid in cash so you need to be prepared for this.

Very Good
Location and very quiet.
Very tight quarter. The light in the bathroom won’t turn off. The room key situation is a bit weird.

Close to the Duomo so great location. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and wonderful attendant.
Staff were variable, some really nice and others really controlling. Even though I paid for a room for two people, was not allowed to go in and out of the room when I got another room in their sister hotel.

Wonderful
Everything was really nice about the hotel, the room & the staff. Very clean & comfortable.
The continental breakfast exceeded my expectations. I'd stay there again!
The elevator going from the ground floor to registration wasn't working when I arrived. Had a difficult time going up multiple levels of stairs.

Great location with beautiful view!
Hotel advertises bar and service for drinks or tea but it is the font desk staff that gets it and when we asked they made you feel like you were a nuisance. Not very friendly or accommodating. Rooms and hotel are very outdated and beds are uncomfortable. The lift was broken as well when we were there.

Exceptional
Just meters away from the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. The staff always there ready to help. Very good breakfast included. We've got a very quiet and pretty spacious room. Yes there are elevators in the hotel. Clean. Everything was really great. A gelateria and a very nice liquor store just next door, plus restaurants, all over the place. We were very central, and still in a very quiet place to stay. Everything was impeccable for us. I totally recommend this hotel. Viva Firenze! Grazie mille, Thank you very much from Montreal. Merci beaucoup.
Nothing really to bother us. Florence is great.
