Hotel David provided everything we needed and more. The bed was so wildly comfortable, but the shower was the perk. Staff was incredibly helpful, happy hour was wonderful, and the location was the perfect distance from downtown while staying incredibly affordable and feeling homey and relaxed. We will stay here again given the chance!

The staff could not have been more helpful and nice. They have a great happy hour each evening. The rooms were large and comfortable. The location is just outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone) so we could drive and park our rental car at the property. The walk into central Florence took about 20 minutes.
We are avid hikers so the walk into the central part of the city was nothing for us, but might be for some.

I loved everything about this hotel, starting with the room — it was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The amenities were of exceptional quality; we even asked where in Florence we could purchase the same soap, shampoo, and conditioner. They also provided facial moisturizer, eye and lip cream, and night cream — those thoughtful details were a big plus for me. Complimentary water and additional drinks were available for guests, and a bottle of sparkling wine was waiting in our room for my husband and me. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The location was great for seeing sites on the south side of the river. The bus route to airport was easy and inexpensive.

I little far from main attractions. Walking distance is about 30 mins. We didn’t take a bus and we should had done because taxi ride is pricey. They charged 25 to 30 euros ride to train station?

The stay was wonderful. The hotel was in walking distance (if you love walking) to the Duomo and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was quiet and well furnished with a good sized bathroom. Each night there was a happy hour with light food. Now, to the breakfast. Marcella was in charge of that. She was wonderful as was the generous breakfast.
My daughter and I loved our 3 nights there and hated to leave.

The staff when we arrived as so helpful with our bags and check-in. At breakfast, there is a lot to choose from all delicious. The dining area is clean and inviting and the staff was excellent! They also offer apperitivo each day, inside the hotel sitting area or outside on their patio, very pretty. Thank you Hotel David for a pleasant stay!
