We had a wonderful 2 Nights stay at solo experience hotel in April 2025. The location, service, and cleanliness exceeded my expectations.
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at reception!
The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet at night. Amazing breakfast!!! Perfect location!!! Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful
Solo Experience is located within walking distance of Florence’s main train station. The hotel is set among beautiful buildings in a quiet area with no passing traffic, which made the atmosphere pleasantly calm. It’s also just a short walk to major attractions like the Florence Cathedral, shopping districts, and even the Arno River. Overall, I was very impressed. Most importantly, the staff were outstanding — extremely helpful, always smiling, and willing to assist with anything. They helped me call taxis and were always cheerful and welcoming. I was also pleasantly surprised to be able to check into my room immediately upon arrival, which I really appreciated since I thought I’d have to store my luggage first.
There was no breakfast provided, but it wasn’t a major issue for me. However, I would not recommend walking from the main train station to the hotel, as the cobblestone roads can be rough and tiring — calling a taxi is a much better option.

Nicely situated hotel, ideal to spend the night when visiting the Florence historical center. It's locate 10mins away from the Cathedral, and while it sits in a touristy area, it truly feels like the quieter part of it. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. It also offers good value when compared to the prices of other hotels in the area.

The hotel gave an excellent service. I was particularly impressed with the staff who were very helpful and considerate. I'm disabled and in the months before I arrived the staff were very happy to answer all my questions and provide me with the information I needed to work out if the hotel could meet my disability-related needs. While I was there, they were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The lift worked perfectly throughout my week-long stay. I'd like to thank the staff for a wonderful holiday. Best wishes, Victoria

The rooms are very nice. We took a junior suite and it includes a small weather sauna for two which is very nice (and sexy).

Excellent location! Large room, the bed is very comfortable, view onto the Piazza was beautiful, all amenities were wonderful. I would have rated a ‘10’, however, the majority of staff were not friendly and upon check-in did not provide instructions on the importance of placing the room key in slot once inside. I did encounter a few very pleasant staff members, especially on my last evening and morning who was very hospitable.

The staff is incredible! The location is also prime. It was very quiet considering where we were. If I ever go back to Florence I will 100% rebook. The rooms were large and the water is filtered. If you know Italy, you know the water is hard unless filtered, so that was a nice bonus. Also thought the price was reasonable for the location/wuality. Staff, again, was top tier!

There were renovations happening at the hotel between 9-5pm. This was not communicated to us prior to our stay and was extremely noisy.
