The hotel was fantastic! The owner and his son were just so friendly and made me feel like I was his house guest! Great place and right next to the main train station! Would stay there again no question!

Travelling from Venice and we arrived in Florence for three nights. The hotel is on the second floor of its building and is accessed by stairs and a small Italian style elevator. Constantino was our friendly host and made us feel extremely welcome. He was an abundant source of local knowledge and helped make our stay extremely pleasant visiting many attractions. The room we had was well maintained and clean and our room had some traditional Italian Firenze style wallpaper in it. Beds were firm and we slept well although there is some early morning noise which is inevitable when being located in the city close to the railway station. There are plenty of food options nearby and many of Florence's sights are a short walk away. We walked to Galleria dell Accademia, the leather markets, Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery easily. Breakfast was available, but not an option for us as we enjoyed the many cafes and supermarket around the hotel. This was great for walking lunches and fruit. Will definitely stay here the next time in Florence

The host was available late at night, I was allowed to leave my luggage after checkout so I could wander Florence, and I was treated as if the only customer even though the hotel was busy.

Ideally located close to the railway station and the tram but on a quiet street. The room was large and the bed was comfortable, it was very clean. There is a lift up to the second floor which is where the hotel is located and it is a lovely old style cage lift which was cute. The owner was very friendly.
