We had a river view room with a balcony which was wonderful. We are celebrating our honeymoon and there was a nice bottle of prosecco waiting. Would for sure come again. Valeting the car was quick, easy and a must do with Florence

Gloomy old, needs more lights, the smell inside rooms was awful (maybe the whole area around the bridge since it’s ancient), they tried to spray air refresher but still. The city tax was deducted from me upon arrival (most hotels I deal with they collect the tax when I check out). And I left the hotel 2 nights earlier for an emergency back in Rome, they haven’t returned my money for the city tax per two nights while they have promised in booking chat that they will email me the details of the refund as the stay’s is not refundable, only the city tax which I don’t understand why they deducted early upon arrival from the beginning?

We did not stay at hotel but at luxurious apartment 6 minutes away with small terrace with fantastic view. Rooms were large even exquisite. The staff at hotel where we had particularly friendly and helpful Italian style. Apartment was very close to Ponte VECCHIO between piazza del signoria and pitti palace. Extraordinary!
There were many steps to get to apartment even after the old fashioned elevator

The hotel has a friendly welcoming atmosphere and the staff are always very polite and friendly from your arrival to the departure a very beautiful ambiance as well. Breakfast was excellent, healthy choices with friendly staff so attentive. The bar in the evening was a great vibe to relax and enjoy so close along the Arno river

Location, service, breakfast, and cleanliness are outstanding, but incident with valet service completely ruined the overall impression
When we arrived, we were offered valet parking at €40 per day. We agreed, left our car and keys. Later, we noticed the car had been taken very far away — across the river. We could have parked there ourselves for much less and simply driven back to the hotel, instead of paying €80 for two nights. The real shock came when the car was returned: the odometer showed an extra 110–120 km, the interior was dirty both in the front and back seats, and the air conditioning settings had been changed. This means someone drove our car while we were staying at the hotel. Paying €80 for parking only to have our car used without permission is completely unacceptable. I expect an explanation and action from the hotel management.

The location is perfect—just a short walk from all the main attractions. Our room was spacious and had an incredible view of the Arno River, which made the experience even more special. Breakfast offered plenty of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The location was ideal and the hotel very comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with an extensive assortment of delectable choices.
No one’s fault, but the second night with no AC on a very hot night was not fun. There was a power outage in the city which somehow affected the AC in the whole hotel. We were jet lagged and very hot. The hotel brought us a small fan, but we had to rearrange our beds in order to get the most coverage. We tried leaving windows open at night but then the mosquitoes feast upon us. Again, we don’t blame the hotel, but it was a rough night with little sleep.

Everything, including location, staff, cleanliness and breakfast were great. The room was a bit on the smaller side but we had windows on two sides and great views of the Arno river and the surrounding buildings.
