Chosen because of availability and proximity to train station. Satisfied those requirements.
No ramp into property so luggage needed to be carried up several steps at the entrance and no one was outside to assist.

The staff were all amazing! The bed was comfy, and the location was great, walking distance from train and many of the attractions. Breakfast was good, lots of good choices. room service was quick, and so was the front desk.
Poor water pressure, no hot water, just warm or cold. rooms need some TLC, chipped paint, water damage, thin walls. and the power went out for a short period of time twice, and at one point the elevators were down.

The staff were very friendly at check in and we were shown to our room, assisted with our luggage and the lovely gentleman showed us the features of the room. The breakfast was very good
We were upgraded to a room with a balcony. The balcony only had one chair and a stool and the outside of the building looks run down and unkempt. The view was not great from the balcony.

The shower was not good. At booking it was not clear that taxes were not included

Location. Friendly staff
The lighting, not sure if it was us or a problem but they went off a couple of time. It was easily fixed but if there is a special way to do something it should be explained when we book it. Basically it was all lights on or off no control of reading lights.

The hotel is very imposing and smart. The location was excellent to walk to everything we needed. On a quiet side road, Not in the centre as that would have been too busy.
The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The balcony only overlooked a service area.
The reception staff were polite.
The breakfast was very good and plentiful.
The breakfast staff were mostly young girls and disorganised. They needed an obvious Maitre’D overseeing everything. Hot drinks had to be reminded for. Smiles and eye contact were not evident.
