Great location close to train station.
Relatively quiet. Very clean with a gracious and attentive staff. Wonderful to have a restaurant on the premises when you’re jet lagged and not quite ready to venture out.
I couldn’t get any daylight into our room.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. The rooms were extremely quiet. Some of the quietest I’ve ever stayed in.
Being very picky. The rain shower was a little underpowered. Although there was a handheld additional shower.

Perfect location, close to station and main tourist sites but as it is on a side street was not noisy. Comfortable and clean room and lovely staff.
It is just a minor gripe but as this is an old historical building the electric points were a bit limited. The hotel have done their best to provide points whilst maintaining the historical character but there were not any next to the bed. The points were next to the tv so we were easily able to charge things so I am being a bit picky

Nice hotel, old style, room decorated with quality. Nice high ceiling, old style windows, classic elevator Better than some most unoersonal hotels. Excellent breakfast with fresh cakes, excellent food and i got served an excellent cappuccino.

Unfortunately the TV had no international channels. Only about 3 english news channels and 2 german channels, one of which did not work.

The room was exceptional, as were the beds. The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. We stayed 9 nights and became friends with several. Hi Lisa and Leonardo!!!
The breakfast, and the entire restaurant is as good as anything you will find out in Florence. The food is wonderful, as is the management and the servers. Hi Amanda and Raul. Miss you guys.
It's a short walk to the cathedral and the highlights in Florence. It's 5 minutes to the train station, which was important to us since we took some day trips.
It's not the hotel's fault, but the streets are full of garbage, cardboard boxes and paper by midday, almost every day. Florence cleans it every night, but it's back starting the next morning.
You walk through a gauntlet of cheap street vendors around the market on your way between the hotel and the city center. We found a different route. It added a couple of minutes but was worth it.
