The place was well located, is was close to the train station which we used to get to and leave the city. They start serving breakfast early which is great for any plans. I had a single bed room, which was small (normal in the center) but very comfortable, I had a good sleep the time I was there. Also, I arrived almost one hour earlier to what I had told them and the rooms were already ready.

The breakfast room was lovely, the staff were very friendly and efficient and were more than happy to make cappuchinos etc. The room was spotless and very well made up each day, tea coffee and a coffee machine in the room as well as welcome sweets and a surprise bottle of wine - as we were celebrating a birthday! The location was excellent, a few minutes walk from a beautiful church, and square with excellent restaurants. Also a short walk to the Duomo, the Uffizi Art Gallery etc.

I had a great stay at Alba Palace Hotel. The location is perfect—close to all the main attractions but still quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was also a nice bonus with good variety. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I’d definitely recommend it!

All the staff I came across were as friendly and helpful as you could imagine. This is a quaint and vernacular hotel - 'boutique', if you like - with a perfect location for seeing the major sights by walking. It took me just 15 minutes to get to the Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio. The Strozzi is half the distance. Some good - and inexpensive - restaurants nearby. All in all it's a very likeable place with a good enough breakfast.
My room was a bit small despite having a shared balcony. However, I'm not used to travelling alone, and I believe this is often the case for single travellers. As is common in Italy, walls are thin - the baby next door woke me up a couple of times at night. Again, this is a general point not directed at this specific hotel.
