It is really a lovely little hotel! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms and public areas were well-maintained. It's close to the train station, Santa Maria Novella church, the famous Santa Maria Novella perfumery, and several good places to eat. I will be recommending it to other traveler friends. By the way, I appreciated that there were 2 ways to have coffee in the room: A kettle and instant coffee packets (and tea bags) and a mini espresso machine with pods. And real mugs with saucers and spoons -- I appreciate those little touches.
This is not a big complaint, at all, because I would stay here again happily. However, for me as a hot-natured American, the room was a bit warm and stuffy, even in February. And, since my room overlooked a busy passageway, it was too loud to sleep with the window open. Making things even warmer, the bed had a nice (but warm) memory foam mattress! :) Finally, the bathroom had a heated towel rack -- and most people would love that, but it couldn't be turned off, so the bathroom always felt a bit warm, too. But -- the hotel graciously supplied a fan for my room, which helped a lot.

The location was close to the trains/tram station. Many major tourist sights are within 10-15mins walking distance. There were some very good (traditional) restaurants within walking distance. Travelling alone I felt quite safe walking the streets late at night around the area. Reception is 24hr, so great for early hour check out.

Great location - walking distance to main Florence attractions and, on top of that, T2 train to/from the airport is just a few mins away by foot.
Wonderful staff - very friendly, attentive and professional.
The hotel was very clean, I'd say it's a 4-star hotel by the US standards.
Very clean room and the hotel itself. The breakfast had many options and was very delicious.
I will definitely stay there again!

Very kind reception and we even had a happy hour in the bar on our first day. The location was perfect (very close to the Santa Maria Novella Station) and the street was very friendly. (day and evening).

I was really impressed by the hotel. The room was bigger than expected and the building was just this gorgeous historic building. I also thought all the furniture/bedding was especially gorgeous, and appreciated the spaciousness of the bathroom. Included breakfast was also lovely! And very walkable.
The wifi was out for a whole 24 hours which was a bit stressful. Luckily by the weekday it was back, and I of course understand that things happen, I was just surprised by how long it took to be resolved.

The staff was extremely pleasant, it was very nice for the Hotel to include breakfast. So many hotels in Italy do not include breakfast, yet it is so common in many other country of Europe. They also had a night in which they provided snack snacks, and drink drinks as a sort of happy hour. I had never seen this in any hotel and it was very pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is great, not too close to the crowed tourist attractions in Florence, but still walking distance. It's conveniently close to the train and bus station. This little hotel is nicely decorated with classic Florentine style and has a beautiful interior patio for breakfast that we found very charming. Breakfast was very good and plenty and the staff was professional and kind.
The room was small and the mattress was too firm for our like, but we only stayed there for one night so it wasn't a deal breaker at all.

Room is spacious, Two floors for a family size room. Breakfast is normal though, offerings quite similar to other hotels, nothing out of the ordinary. Location is perfect, walking distance from Central station.

Room quietness. Terrace. Happy hour offered. Atmosphere. Checkin/out times were convenient. They cleaned our room even for us stayed for only two nights. Forgotten thing in the US.
Maybe darkness in the room. Need more light. Additionally some bed lights didn't work.
