We rented a private room with a shower. The hotel/hostel is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful. There's plenty of space for two. The shared bathroom is always spotlessly clean. We had a view of the basilica, which added to the charm of the room. It's a bit far from the center, but it took us 20-30 minutes to walk there. There's a direct bus from the train station. There are shops and cafes nearby. 10/10

The hostel is in a very good location, accessible by bus, but also in general, it is easy to walk there from the center. Breakfast was luxurious at that time for 5€ And otherwise the surroundings looked very clean and nice, staff was nice.
Unfortunately the showers and bathrooms in general were not very well located and to be honest I missed a place in the showers where I could properly put my things. There are two hangers, but since the shower is not covered by a curtain or anything like that, water splashed everywhere, so even the things you hung there were wet and it would be nice to separate the shower from the space. Overall there was very little space for so many rooms. But otherwise I was satisfied for this price.

The rooms in the hostel are simple, but clean and sufficient. You also get a clean towel and there is plenty of soap in the bathroom. The rooms are not too small. The only problem was the shower, which was either boiling hot or cold. The shower head was fixed high above, so washing was difficult. The staff is nice, and the breakfast is adequate for a good price. Both the outdoor seating and the relaxation area upstairs with comfortable armchairs were pleasant. The location is not in the city center, but the neighborhood is nice. It’s close to the Campo di Marte train stop (good for a trip by train toward Arezzo).

Exceptional
I found this place by accident, and it was the happiest accident ever! I have stayed a few times, and it is always amazing. You walk into a beautiful oasis in the city, then are met by incredibly kind staff. The rooms are big and clean, the facilities are well maintained, the beds are comfortable. I can guarantee you will not find better, either hostel-wise or price, in Florence.

Friendly staff, a spacious room, cheap breakfast, overall a very good place to stay. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the bus stop is very close, the supermarket is around the corner, there’s a nice church near the entrance, and the common areas are pleasant.
