Good
Location and cleanness are nice.
My whole experience here has been ruined by a complete lack of respect for my private space. I was in my room, not decent, when someone knocked. I shouted 'No, two minutes!' but he just walked in anyway. He didn't speak English and showed no signs of being sorry or embarrassed. He used a translator to show me something about a complaint, but I couldn't understand it. After entering my room without permission, he told me it would take 5 minutes, but he didn't return for 15 minutes, so I couldn't even change my clothes. I had to sit there and wait. This one incident has completely overshadowed everything else.
P.S.: When I was doing my check out, the receptionist asked how was my stay and I explained the situation. She only said "Thanks for review" :p No tiny apology.

Fair
Near a bus stop and train station to get where you need to be. Comfortable beds.
My room felt incredibly cramped and very outdated. The lockers also wouldn’t lock, even with my own lock.

I like the female dorms with closed curtains on the bunks. I think they are nicer than the bigger dorms and shared bathrooms.
The staff isn’t the nicest. Maybe the first moment you meat them but they are not very understanding or helpful. Other residents that stay long term are questionable also. Shared bathrooms are kinda gross. Walls are thin so noise is everywhere especially if students are staying. I would suggest finding somewhere closer to the center. Even better hostels to stay at.

Very Poor
Decent place for a couple nights. Ok location near the station and right next to the Conad.
The staff is nice until you need them. I would say questionable things go on there. Some drug use from younger people that stay. The walls are thin so you can hear lots of noise in the hall, especially if students are staying. They clean daily but the shared bathrooms are still kinda gross. There is a common fridge in the kitchen that usually smells terrible but it’s there if you need it. At first I enjoyed my stay, it wasn’t so bad but the longer I was there the more I was able to witness from the residents and the staff.

They have a luggage storage area where you can leave your luggage but don’t leave it longer than a few hours as they will throw away your luggage without warning. This is not mentioned anywhere but just so you know they will throw it out and not care or help at all. Eventually I got my luggage back after lots of stress, conversations and a trip to the police station and a call to a lawyer.

Very Poor
The staff. I stayed for an extra amount of time as I was waiting for my finances renovation to complete. Considering the length of my stay, I was able to witness many things over time. I stayed because I no longer had to pay tax since I was staying a longer time….however I realized this to be a mistake. Some drug use from other residents. The staff is nice to your face but rude as hell if you need them.

Common area
The toilet room was too small, and some of the doors' lockers were broken, so they couldn't be locked.

Good
Location by Firenze Campo Marte railway station (not in the centre of Florence but not too far away). Supermarkets close by. Accomodation facilities are what you would expect for the price: functional and adequate. Comfortable stay overall with friendly staff.
Fridge was a bit dodgy when I arrived (not the fridge itself, but the contents). To be fair, I arrived two days before they indicated they would clean it all out.

I really liked the outside sitting area and the location felt safe to walk to as well as close to one of the train stations. Also includes a towel which is so great!
The beds were a bit creaky on the top bunk. Bathroom also could’ve been a bit cleaner but I understand they’re shared. Also no real kitchen to cook in

Nice design. It was funny that the shower was next to the bed. Nice staff.
They didn't indicate on the property's info page that pets not allowed in dorms.

Exceptional
The hostel is about 15min walking from Campo di Marte train station.
It is located in a quiet area (far from the main sightseeing), but there is a supermarket right next to the hostel and caffes and restaurants nearby.
The room was spacious and clean. Bed was confortable and it has its own locker, power outlet, light and curtains for privacy and they also provided towels.
I got a free bedroom upgrade, so the bathroom inside the bedroom was very convenient. It has hair dryer so it is very good for the winter.
Breakfast is a buffet and it is only 5 euros. It is delicious and it has many options of food and drinks.
The only thing that I missed was fresh fruit (like apples and oranges ) in the breakfast buffet. Also, if you arrive at Campo di Marte at night and have to go walking to the hostel, be aware that you have to cross a bridge over the train lines and it doesn't look very safe (there were some people haging around that looked like drug dealers).
