Breakfast was good. The hotel was really lovely, the location is across the river away from the city but about a ten minute walk into the city which was along the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is a nice touch.
Would have liked milk to go with the coffee pods in the room but that’s very minor.

We actually didn’t stay at this hotel as they upgraded us to their new hotel called
Della Calza SPA & Foresteria.
This hotel has only just opened and we were selected to try it out. It was very comfortable in beautiful surroundings. We were able to use the spa facilities which were very nice.
The coffee for breakfast was not very nice. From a machine and tasted watery.

So nice to be on the other side of the river, away from the over-priced and overly busy tourist centre. Hotel perfectly good, easy walk to all the action, great breakfast, super friendly staff.

I recently stayed at Horto Convento hotel for a few nights and I had a great experience. From the moment I check in , the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and modern with the view to enclosed garden .Breakfast service was great. The locations was good a walking distance to the centre about 15-20min...Thanks for a lovely stay.

It is a beautiful facility, quiet and elegant. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We liked the fact that it is in a quiet part of Florence, across the river from the thousands of tourists, like us, who make navigating the streets almost impossible.
Our room was very hot and stuffy. We could not open the window and turning down the heat didn’t make much of a difference.

It’s on the outskirts of Florence but still within easy reach of the city centre. It’s absolutely spotlessly clean and the staff are brilliant, especially Adam the barman!
The pillows!!! Stay was only for 3 nights so manageable but that’s the one thing I’d recommend they review.

Great and comfortable hotel, with a modern interior in a historic property.
Breakfast with diverse options and friendly staff.
The hotel has parking and is outside the restricted traffic zone, which was perfect for us, as we were traveling by car.
Extra charge for omelets at breakfast.

Location was ideal - far enough from the centre to give a good local experience, but close enough to the main attractions (20 minute walk). Lovely and quiet. Comfy, large bed (ahem)
