Wonderful
**NOTE we did not stay here as we were offered to stay at their sister hotel: Della Calza SPA.****
Della Calza was lovely, particularily the courtyard. My husband used the spa and enjoyed it. The breakfast was very good. We loved the location - it is far enough from the tourist sights to have a lovely neighbourhood feel but close enough to walk to things. We did walk over to Convento to have a look and were pleased that we had moved although both would be nice. The area Convento is in may have more restaurant options (not sure). The room was nice and the bathroom very good.
It was a small King bed and the frame moved quite a bit when one of us rolled over which we tend to do quite a bit. It was also squeaky and a bit hard (which i don't mind but not in a good way).

Exceptional
Great location, walkable to shops, restaurants, & the tourist areas. Fantastic morning breakfast & exceptional customer service. Spacious rooms & oversized bathroom. Very comfortable stay in a beautiful building.
The outdoor area was very nice but it wasn’t useable because the cushions were not put out until our last evening there. (Yes, the weather was nice.)

Fair
Breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent.
They have mosquitoes in rooms and outside. They had little vape outlet anti-mosquito plug ins, didn’t help in our room.

Disappointing
The location was good, but the rest was awful.
I didn't like the parking hidden fees at all that should be clearly mentioned in the beginning or included in the total. the staff behavior as well wasn’t up to the standard, especially J… he can't understand ppl he doesn't have the ability to understand, he is more of a rule follower

It was a superb hotel, extremely comfortable with a beautiful room and a great breakfast. Most of all, the staff were wonderful - they were always most helpful and kind.

Very Good
Location in quieter part of Florence yet still within walking distance to main attractions. Nice grounds, lobby & breakfast area.
Bathroom & shower on smaller size. Prefer having a ceiling fan to a AC specially overnight so we could enjoy the fresh air.

Exceptional
The hotel is elegant, serene, and thoughtfully designed, with an exceptional location that makes it the perfect base for exploring the area. Every detail feels carefully considered, creating an atmosphere of understated luxury and tranquillity.
The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented.
A refined and memorable experience from beginning to end. We would wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional and quietly located hotel in the "mids" of busy Firenzea, and would be delighted to return.
