Once we arrived there was a very sweet woman (I believe her name is Julia if i’m not mistaken) who greeted us and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. She also gave us a map and gave us a ton of recommendations for our time in Florence for sights, restaurants, shops, etc.! She was very very kind and made us feel very welcomed. And the room was lovely.
The bed was pretty stiff but manageable. I guess it depends on your preference! :)

Wonderful
Quiet, modest and away from the fray of central Firenze--the property is a just a short walk on the other side of the Arno, straight up a gentle incline from one of the bridges--the building is old, as it the entire neighborhood, but the property is very peaceful. We were there off season, and breakfast was not advertised, but the lovely staff made a wonderful effort to have cakes, cookies and fruit for us. The breakfast room has a terrific coffee machine! The neighborhood coffee shop and lunch counter, Caffe Mi Piace is a great asset--and a nice alternative to the many places geared to tourist traffic.
The rooms are a bit dark and show their age, and unfortunately were plagued with a few buzzing mosquitos--it might be a city-wide issue--but we did not get bitten. In our room, there are two steps up to the bathroom which contained both a bathtub and a separate shower.

This was our first time in Florence and it was a great value for the location. We were just a few minutes' walk from Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens. Sonia is friendly and super helpful, letting us store our bags before the room was ready, putting them in the room for us, and finding a taxi to the airport when ours cancelled. It is a lovely, small B&B in a residential building, easy to find and beautifully decorated. The room was large with an armoire, desk, and a safe to lock any valuables. The bathroom was also surprisingly large with a decent-sized shower. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices for any traveler. It was a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We could walk anywhere, easily get to the historical sights on the other side of the Arno, and was a better price than if we stayed on the other side of the river. I highly recommend.
European beds are a bit firm for me - otherwise, this was perfect.

We had an amazing experience in Florence, one of the reasons also being our stay in this location.
Our host was wonderful and helped us with good tips on what to visit, where to eat, info about the tours we took, everything.

Location and price were great. Morning breakfast was fantastic. Owner was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Short walk to all major sites and located in more authentic Florence neighborhood.
Air conditioning was not adequate. Stayed in June and it was a hot month. Rooms could use fans to help move air.

Our room was located next to the breakfast area so it was a bit noisy in the morning when staff was preparing the food.

The location was excellent for seeing the city and local sights. There was an excellent little bar right around the corner that we frequented several times.
The breakfast was very nice with a good variety of food.
Although it says it is in the first floor there are 3 flights of stairs you have to walk up to get to the first floor.
