Beautiful, clean room tastefully decorated in an historic palazzo, friendly and professional staff/hosts. Great continental breakfast offered for 6 euros. Convenient and calm oltrarno location. Just a 15 minute walk to the Uffizi galleries. Air conditioning worked well.
Large bathroom with both a shower and tub, but shelving for toiletries was sparse. Easily overlooked. So many other great features and services.

Its interior old-fashioned, good atmosphere, tasty and variety of food at the breakfast(there were vegatables,cheese, meat-based products, jams ,butter, coffee, cookies and cakes, everything needed for a good meal)
Only that toothpaste and tooth brush are not provided but I think it is like that in general in B&B accomodations of Italy, but not a big deal)

Great quite neighborhood on the other side of the arno river. Able to walk to many notable sites from the B&B. The breakfast provided was exceptional. Guilia and Sonia were great hosts!

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-located. The staff are delightful and I loved the decor. I would totally stay here again, in spite of the problems I'm reporting below. I just want to do other travelers the favor of letting them know what to expect, since the listing is not accurate.
I booked this hotel because it called itself a "B&B" and the listing promised a delicious breakfast for 6 Euros. Also because it promised two separate beds in each room. I was booking myself for two days, and a group of clients for a week. I'd promised my clients separate beds (since they are unrelated to each other) and breakfast.
At the last minute I was told that no breakfast would be available (so I guess it's just a B, not a B&B?) and even though I was assured repeatedly, in messages and in person, that each guest could have her own bed, at the end we were told there weren't enough sheets to make up separate beds and two guests were forced to share.

The location of the hotel is outstanding - 5 mins to Boboli Gardens, 10 - 15 mins to Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Cappella Brancacci. The hotel and the neighborhood are quiet. The room is big and clean, the bed is comfortable. A breakfast of coffee, cake and biscuits is available in the morning. The managers of the hotel (Giulia and Sonia) were very attentive and helpful. Communication with them was excellent (prior to my arrival and during my stay). The check-in process was flawless too. It was possible to leave my luggage in the hotel for a few hours after check-out and do last museum visits ;) I would consider staying here again on a next visit to Florence. Highly recommended!

This was a true home away from home. Giulia was a wonderful, helpful, and warm hostess. My room was charming, very large, spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was also very large and super clean. A kettle with coffee and tea were provided, very welcome during my winter visit. The breakfast offered for a very reasonable 6 EU was abundant, fresh, and delicious. Guests may also enjoy coffee and cake in the morning whether they opt for the breakfast or not. The guesthouse is in a great location, near enough to all sights to walk, but in a quiet, non-touristy area. The whole place has a warm, cozy, feel and is nicely decorated. This was one of my favorite stays in Italy.

Once we arrived there was a very sweet woman (I believe her name is Julia if i’m not mistaken) who greeted us and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. She also gave us a map and gave us a ton of recommendations for our time in Florence for sights, restaurants, shops, etc.! She was very very kind and made us feel very welcomed. And the room was lovely.
The bed was pretty stiff but manageable. I guess it depends on your preference! :)

Wonderful
Quiet, modest and away from the fray of central Firenze--the property is a just a short walk on the other side of the Arno, straight up a gentle incline from one of the bridges--the building is old, as it the entire neighborhood, but the property is very peaceful. We were there off season, and breakfast was not advertised, but the lovely staff made a wonderful effort to have cakes, cookies and fruit for us. The breakfast room has a terrific coffee machine! The neighborhood coffee shop and lunch counter, Caffe Mi Piace is a great asset--and a nice alternative to the many places geared to tourist traffic.
The rooms are a bit dark and show their age, and unfortunately were plagued with a few buzzing mosquitos--it might be a city-wide issue--but we did not get bitten. In our room, there are two steps up to the bathroom which contained both a bathtub and a separate shower.
