Wonderful
Great location, felt very safe, close to everything. Beautiful rooftop pool, stunning views. Lobby areas were beautifully decorated! Rooms very nice.
Only minor thing I noticed. Nice to have breakfast buffet included…but fruit and cheeses always dried out and looked like food been sitting too long. For price and all their attention to detail in other areas, wouldn’t have expected. However, overall, this didn’t detract from our wonderful experience.

A really great location, but very disappointing given the price. This was mainly due to the extreme hit and miss with the staff - one particularly surly at breakfast who made us feel quite uncomfortable, but Monica on the front desk was brilliant and had great recommendations - and a very disappointing room that was very stuffy (apparently they’re not allowed to turn on aircon til end April) and uncomfortable to sleep in feeling very dusty and was opposite the cleaning storeroom so meant we constantly had vacuum cleaner wires trailing infront of our door and an open cleaning cupboard to look in.
All in all, avoid room 410 like the plague.
Room 410 - stuffy, dusty and opposite the cleaning cupboard. Not what you expect for €525/ night !

Beautiful hotel in great location. The rooftop bar is fantastic with amazing views. The rooms are clean, modern, comfortable and beautiful. But the absolute best part is the staff. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and helpful, always with a smile on their faces.
Extra mention goes to the lovely Alessia in the front reception who was wonderful, going above and beyond to help us resolve a small issue during our stay. Would 100% recommend this hotel. We can't wait to be back.

Loved everything...location, breakfast, staff at breakfast
But for both nights we stayed, we had no wi-fi connection in room 129, so we could not check-in for our flights online nor could we receive important notices (such as flight delays and seat switches) we had signed up for from airlines). We also could not utilize wi-fi to watch shows from Netflix etc. so we watched no TV (all other channels were Italian TV). Also, the first night - we only had shampoo and soap. I luckily always snag a bottle of conditioner and body lotion from hotels that provide them, just in case the next one does not. The next day, everything was provided...but we were desperate for it on the first day and were sticking our fingers into bottles to get the last drop out. We didn't feel like calling from the desk ... the note about being able to call the front desk we if forgot supplies was not in the bathroom so we didn't know we could do it. We saw the note the next day when all the usual supplies were provided to us.
Also, the rooftop swimming pool was open between 9am - 7pm. I really wanted to use it before I started my day, or after a long hot day out around the city. It seemed to be available for people who spent their late morning and early evenings un the hotel. I actually booked the hotel for the swimming pool and never used it... who stays in the hotel to use the pool past 9am and come to the hotel just to swim before dinner time?

Room, staff, hotel & location were fantastic!! 1 block from the train station; on a lovely piazza with good restaurants and historic sites; easy access to major sites & galleries; plus auto-laundry & hardware store nearby!

Location was excellent - smack in the middle of one of the city's main piazzas. Easy walking everywhere. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and cheerful. Room was small, but that was probably our fault during reservation process. Valet parking was pricey but essential.
Biggest peeve was no coffee maker or kettle in room; not available even upon request. Breakfast bacon consistently greasy and overcooked; sausage nuggets didn't taste good. Room lighting was challenging; bedside not bright enough to read by. Room was always too hot, even when heat was off. My wife didn't like the pillows. Bathrooms should have an exhaust fan; it fogged up and was always too hot. 10 euros for a glass of freshly squeezed OJ!

Although the hotel was generally friendly, it was not enough to be the best hotel. The location was really good and the view was excellent. It was impressive that the staff were active in guiding the traffic to Florence during the check-in. However, the moment I saw two shampoos stuck in my amenities on the first day (where the shower gel was supposed to be), I was disappointed. And on the second day morning, the old male staff at breakfast restaurant, who didn't even ask for a plate with food that I hadn't finished yet, cleaned it up in front of my eyes was the worst. The most disappointing moment was when I asked if they could microwave-hot food that I had packed at a nearby restaurant (because of my health condition is so bad, it was necessary to eat special food), but I was simply rejected. I think it is basic to warm up food for baby or patient.Besides this, it was honestly annoying to not say a word of greeting while staring at my face when I came in and out every day. I don't know if the sewage system was under construction on the last morning, but I remember the experience of having a bad smell. The location and overall level is a good hotel in Florence, but I don't want to recommend it to anyone or stay again.
