The roof was great, although inside was not clean and smelled weird
Dark and weird scents. Rugs looks like they needed deep cleaning. Rooms are very old and dark almost to hide the dirt and rundown atmosphere

The property was beautiful. The rooftop bar and restaurant had an amazing view, excellent service, and delicious food.
Most notably was the kindness of the front desk staff, especially a gentleman named Pierre. He gave us exceptional service.
This was the second time I stayed at the hotel, and it was even more fabulous than my first visit.

Breakfast buffet was fantastic. The room size excellent. The shower was small but excellent water pressure
The entrance and lobby had a musty odor. Same for the rooms. The a/c wasnt strong enough to remove the humidity in the room

The location is amazing, few minutes from the train station and very close to Santa Maria del fiore and other attractions in the city. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. The best thing about breakfast is the view though.
We actually aske for a room upgrade and we got the a junior suit. This is a very old and beautiful hotel but this comes with a price. The room was very humid, if you open a window to have some air, will then you invite insects and noise fromt the outside. Since the suite was on the first floor, it was noisy outside so word of warning for those with light sleep. The sauna in the room was nice but the bad wifi, lack of control of the conditioning and the humidity was a bit too much for the price.

Great location, convent to everything. Right next to SMR train station.
Air conditioning was so unreliable that they have fans at the front desk for your room. Beds and pillows were not soft at all. They will often host private events in the roof top bar with no notice, which doesn’t allow guests to even enter for a drink or to see the view.

Tiny bathroom, room was warm, and found out that the front desk controls the temp, and will only Lower it after you call and ask. also it took forever for the room to cool down.

Room was large perhaps a Jr.Suite very clean housekeeping staff wonderful.
Front desk friendly, professional and attentive. ( young lady who was front desk manager cordial and professional)
Breakfast charges for additional room was charged once or twice, however I did not dispute and paid as I was overall soooooo very satisfied with the hotel and plan on returning.

Location was amazing. Rooftop bar and restaurant was also great. Only down side was bathroom shower was super tight quarters for my hubby. And room was a little too warm but otherwise it was fantastic.

The hotel is wonderful! There were plenty of options at breakfast, and the staff were always very kind and attentive. We didn't get to enjoy the rooftop because it was raining, so we stayed in the restaurant instead—which was also very good.
