The place was a great bargain, well located, and as a duplex with a kitchen, answered our needs for a long stay. There was even a washer (but no dryer).
We needed several things taken care of and were promised help, but it either took days for that help to arrive, or it never did. For instance, the ceiling light near the eating area went out for two days, was finally fixed, only to go out again immediately.

Beautiful interior
Noise- either from road or workmen
No Aircon- which meant opening the windows letting in mosquitoes and the noise mentioned above.
Heaters couldn't be turned off- adds to the above problems.

The location is convienient but away from the tourist throngs. The staff were helpful and the rooms comfortable.
We booked and paid for a suite but were put in a standard room. It took two days before we could be moved into the room we paid for. We were promised a refund but that has not been paid. The Manager did not charge the city tax, to compensate for their stuff up, however I doubt that amount matches the difference between a suite and a standard room.
Also wireless is very patchy and there is a lot of street noise.
Overall we found it all very disappointing and feel ripped off.

staff service is great ! restaurants recommendations, stored luggage ..etc. Love the closed kitchenette. location is close to everything but not right in middle of tourist zone which is better.
Great for a short stay. For longer stay will prefer better daylight in room.

This stay was one of the highlights of my trip! This accomodation is so beautiful, clean and unique! The host was amazing, friendly and welcoming and was always available for any questions I had. I felt so safe in this accomodation as a solo traveller as well. The little apartment I had looked onto a beautiful courtyard and had everything I could need. I will stay here when I come back to Florence in the future. It is also on a quite street so not much noise from outside but also very close to the duomo so you get the best of both worlds.
