The place is located in a beautiful countryside area. The place was very quiet and peaceful. We spent 3 nights in early September and used it as a base to visit Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. Breakfast was very good and was included with our package. They offer the option to add eggs, but at a nominal cost. The accommodations were very good and clean. We had our own rental car, but please be advised that this place is outside the city area and it may be difficult to reach at night if you will depend on taxi or other public transportation. Giuseppe and Giampaolo were very good hosts and gave us good recommendations as to places to eat in the area and public parking in the near the city centers.

The location is very special and beautiful, the pool was great and also the food and drinks which served next to the pool.
The facilities are very old and some of them worked badly, the bed was noisy and also the floor, the water flow in the shower was weak.

The room had not been cleaned. Even the dishes were dirty (coffee stains in cups, greasy knives etc). Not enough dishes in the kitchen. The grounds weren’t kept well. All plants outside were dead; not watered. Beautiful fountain but no water in it. Pictures online make it look nicer than it is. Everything was really worn down and not kept up. Not worth the money we paid. Over $1000 for 2 days.

The place is gorgeous! The views are stunning. The rooms are just adorable.
The restaurant on site requires reservations and we didn't realize this; we were just told we can walk there. The breakfast is really expensive for what you get. One of our rooms also didn't have working AC and the response to this was not great.

The property was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. The traditional Tuscan style made our stay feel authentic. The host was friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was easy. We really enjoyed our stay.
The Wi-Fi could have been a little faster, and a few more kitchen supplies would have been helpful. Other than that, everything was very good.

Nice very big property with several rustic rooms. You need a car to get there. Very nice breakfast. Beautiful pool. Parking by the room. Close drive to a big grocery store with free parking and a bus stop with busses to Ferenze.
We didn't have problem with that, but people should know that there might be stairs to the room and several stairs between bathroom and bedroom or bedroom and kitchen or hall.

Absolutely nothing.
The grounds are unkept. Our room was musty and furniture was very tired and worn. Beds with thin mattresses. DO NOT STAY HERE. We left. The pool was not open and the grounds around it completely over grown.

For some people, without a car, getting luggage to some of the units can be a challenge. Doable, but with a big wheeled dolly or a staff driven golf cart, much easier.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating! The location is great IF your reason for staying there is to rent a car and explore Tuscany. The "hotel/B&B" is tucked away just west of a small town/village called Galluzzo (about 5 miles southwest of Florence) with lovely views of the countryside; very peaceful and rustic. There is a pool that looks wonderful, but we were there in late April/early May, and it was not yet open. The restaurant had lovely food for dinner.
For purposes of expectation setting, know that this is not a fancy place. There is a general feel of "scruffiness" about the grounds and the facilities. Our accommodations were clean, but all the furniture was old and worn (not the end of the world, but some folks would not appreciate this). Our bathrooms and kitchen were very dated (the latter not fully stocked. There was no tea kettle; we had to use a pot and ladle for tea); again, not a problem, but, rather, for establishing expectations should you stay here. For Breakfast (8:00-9:30), you have to make a reservation and pay ahead (12-euro per person). It was just average. I recommend buying food for breakfast and lunch in Galluzzo where there is a co-op and grocery store (no lunch served on the grounds of the hotel). Dinner is served only from 7:30-11:00 and you have to make a reservation. The buildings are very spread out on the grounds; it would've been nice for the hotel to provide bikes or scooters to get around. Finally, I would not recommend this location if your purpose for being in Italy/Tuscany is to spend time in Florence. Taxis into Florence are 50-euro one way. If you rent a car and drive in to Florence, you have to find a place to park in or around the city -- not an easy thing to do (expensive, too; 30+ euro per day). There is a bus you can pick up in Galluzzo that will take you into Florence, but you have to get yourself to Galuzzo first. If you have rented a car, this would not be a problem; you could park it in Galluzzo then get the bus. If you don't have a car, you'd have to get a taxi into Galluzzo (it is downhill and very steep from the hotel to Galluzzo; the winding, narrow roads are not at all walkable; they are, in fact, dangerous for walking).

Traveling by car, this location served us very well as there is ample free parking in the town of Galuzzo nearby, with a direct bus to Florence. The management are very responsive. Breakfast is excellent.
An exhaust fan in the bath/toilet is much needed.
