Poor
The room was beautiful, and breakfast each morning was robust. The area is far enough from Florence that you get a taste of Tuscany, but close enough to travel into the city daily.
Unfortunately, the bathroom in our suite had a LOT of black mold growing on the shower bricks. This really impacted our lungs/energy levels for the duration of our stay. Now back home, we're still recovering.

Wonderful
We saw a wild bore at night. It’s a lovely place in the countryside. Wide estate.
Breakfast was less fresh things than expected.

The restaurant was incredible.
I communicated multiple times that the coffee pot did not work and leaked all over the counter and requested some additional water as I had wasted it on the broken coffee pot. No pot was replaced and further they told me I could purchase water from the vending machine.
Further, the washing machine did not work. I had to finally demand somebody come to my unit and release my clothes from hostage as they had been there for 24 hours wet. The door would not open.
While I was looking for something that was rustic, farmhouse, and wine country inspired I did not expect it to smell like mold. When I requested to change units, they told me they were sold out. There was no apology, and no attempt to resolve. Finally, I thought this community was more cohesive however it is completely disconnected and therefore we did not enjoy any of the facilities.

Wonderful
Felt like we were off the beaten path, way out in the countryside! Dirt paths, lovely views. The pool was beautiful but unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to see se it since we only stayed 1 night. The restaurant was excellent—Tuscan specialties, meat-forward, simple and rustic.
We came by taxi—I would recommend coming by car if you have one. The taxi cost us about 35 euros each way. But this wasn’t the property’s fault, of course. We stayed in a villa above the restaurant and check in was about a 10 minute walk down a lovely path which also included a steep climb. There was no one available at this location on the property to attend to us. Felt more like an Air b&b than a hotel. The room was dated and rustic but very clean.

Good
The views were amazing and why we booked this place to begin with! We wanted to get out of the city a bit and this was a great spot for that. The room was cozy and comfy; and breakfast each morning was really nice! If you want to have more of a view while staying in Florence, this was a nice spot. You do however have to think of transportation, we rented a car and drove up ourselves, the roads are a bit narrow going to and from this spot which was a little stressful as we worried about cars coming when we didn't have much room for two cars to pass, but we managed and it is pretty secluded in that area, meaning not a lot of traffic to worry about. It's a decent size property and we walked all around the trails, we could tell this place could use some TLC as there were a lot of spots that needed some maintenance, however, that gave it some Italian charm. :)
We were completely bummed about the pool not being opened, it looked like a nice pool area, but they were still needing some maintenance done on it and could not open it just yet when we were there. The "gym" was also not worth even having - very old equipment and machines that didn't look sturdy to even use. I would recommend they update it or just remove it and turn it into something else. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night, Monday being our full day there; our plans were to have this place be a place we would hang out at, relax, enjoy the pool, the scenery and the on-site restaurant, but found out the restaurant isn't open on Mondays and with the pool being closed at that time; we ended up having to make a whole day trip to the city anyhow (thankfully we had a car to do so); which was a shame and not what we were expecting to have to do.

The property is gorgeous and our room was lovely. It was nice to have such large indoor spaces and place for the kids to run around and play outside. Getting into Florence with a car and parking in the free parking spot spots and taking the tram in was really easy to do.

Staff were very friendly and helpful... the location was great and so tranquil... but you do need a car to get there and back. It was only 15 minutes into the old town of Florence... would definitely go back.
The bed was pretty hard... but maybe that's just a personal taste...

Wonderful
Location was perfect, up a picturesque hill overlooking Florence. ( You do need transport to be staying here)
Galuzzo was approx 5km away where there's an excellent bus service that takes you into Florence, we got either the 11 or the 37 bus, very good price.
The staff were lovely and very helpful booking their on-site restaurant and taxi any time we needed.
Our apartment was rustic and spacious. The bathroom was lovely with a jacuzzi bath which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The bathroom paint could certainly do with a refresh, walls and ceiling.
The kitchenette is small with a 2 ring hob, there's no oven/grill/microwave and one of these items would have made the kitchen more workable for our 6 night stay. There was a coffee pod machine but no kettle for us tea drinkers. Armchair would have been nicer than the hard chairs
