People at Berchielli hotel were nice and helpful.
Donatello appartment is +/- 5 min. walking distance.
It is a great location with a broad view to Piazza Signoria.

breakfast has decent selection of hot and cold food. service was attentive. The staff seems very responsible.
windows needs more insultation for a decent night sleep as random groups of people would shout throughout the night until at least 3am!

The shower : makes all bathroom wet

It’s difficult to think of anything. Maybe exchanging the bed cover for a fluffy duvet and more pillows for comfort

Prior reviews were very helpful. Location, on top floor, directly across from the Uffizi, simply could not be beat. It is associated with a nearby hotel, & the hotel staff were wonderful. The breakfast at the hotel was included and an excellent spread. Wifi in apt was excellent.
Liked everything about the property. However know you need to walk up 12 stairs to get to the elevator. Also, there is some noise from the piazza - given the location- you should expect it to be- but the location more than makes up for it.

Location! Location! Location! A wonderful layout with room for 3-4 persons easily. Restaurants, cafes, museums and historical attractions all in walking distance. We loved to open the windows and people watch in the piazza below.
The combination shower space with toilet and bidet. Would have liked these separate so as not to get everything wet when showering.

Fantastic location overlooking Piazza Signoria. The magnificent view of the tower at night was spectacular. It's so centrally located that we walked everywhere. And it's surrounded by gelataria, ristorantes & luxury good stores.
Architecturally the apt is well appointed. The entire place is huge with ample closets that included enough hangers. I've not stayed at a place where the toiletries were so plentiful.
The bed is a bit too firm for us.

Everything,and I mean EVERYTHING, about this penthouse was perfect.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The penthouse was beautiful,almost palatial. The location could not have been any better. The price was extremely reasonable.
I can’t give any greater of a stellar recommendation for anyone to stay at the Donatello Penthouse.

We stayed in five different locations in Italy, and this was by far the best. The apartment was large and overlooked one of the main Piazzas in Florence. Everything we wanted to see and do were within walking distance. There were restaurants right outside our front door. If you are going to Florence, this is the place to stay.
