The hotel has a charming historic character that takes you back in time, making you feel as though you're staying in a museum.
The hospitality was exceptional, and the breakfast was excellent.
The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station.
The reception staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything I needed was taken care of.

Boutique hotel converted from a palazzo located off the Santa Maria Novella church plaza. Location was great - close to many restaurants, shopping, Uffizi Gallery, the Arno river and Ponte Vecchio.
Hotel room could get a bit noisy because of the location. Rooms were a bit dark and bathroom was on the smaller side, but definitely manageable.

The hotel was in a great location. We were close to the train station and I walking distance to all the amazing sites. Staff was kind and attentive. Breakfast was perfect each day

We had an unplannned stop in Firenze because our flight was delayed and we missed the connecting train, so it was great to find accommodation at such short notice so close to the train station. The location is very good, and the hotel is ok. There is a nice terrace for breakfast that we enjoyed very much.
For a longer stay I would probably find the room a bit small, but we only stayed for a night so it was ok. The hotel belongs to the “old charm” style, with vintage decor, but it is a bit worn out. I found it ok but it could use some renovation.

The front desk person in charge on my arrival was disrespectful and demeaning. Look for another hotel. There are over 100 that area less expensive, better and with a nicer and respectful reception.
I was given a room of lower value than the one I reserved and paid for. Even when I demanded a better room and complained to BOOKING, the hotel did not respect my choices. THERE WERE INSECTS IN MY ROOM. the qualiTY OF THE WIFI WAS POOR, UNRELIABLE, EXTREMELY SLOW
