The property (apartment) was spacious and private located near Piazzo Vecchio. We rented an apartment with a bedroom, two bathrooms, kitchen, washer, living room and dining area. The living room has a pull-out couch that our teenage daughter absolutely loved. The apartment allowed us to have an elegant haven (felt like home) central to all that Florence has to offer. Vincent was an excellent host and gave us tons of information including favorite hotspots, restaurants and hidden gems. We will be returning!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Dante States Apartments. Upon arrival we met with the host, Vincent, who was very welcoming and gave us an in depth tour of the apartment. He so kindly provided us with a map of the city as well, which had personalized recommendations and many popular areas/attractions to go and visit.
The apartment itself was fantastic. Very spacious, clean, and provided what we needed for the 5 days we were there. The weather was hot during our stay, so it was a welcomed reprieve to have ample space to soak in the AC in between activities.
Right when you walk outside the main door to the apartments, you're on the street facing some of the most popular Schiacciata shops, are a few steps away from some great restaurants, and just a block away from museums, piazza's and more. Almost everything we wanted to see in Florence was at maximum a 20 minute walk from the apartments, with most places being 10 minutes or less away. Returning to Florence one day is definitely a must and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The property was easily accessible and clean. City center close/walkable to main attractions. Vincent met us at the door when we arrive and could not have been nicer or more informative about the city and any particular questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

Dante State Apartments are located in historic Florence and the location is great. Restaurants are next door, down the street, and in every direction. Historic locations are an easy walk from the apartment building. There may be a bit of noise in the early evening, but we found it to be very quiet by 10pm. The rooms are VERY large and well equipped with a mini kitchen and dishes. We did wash while here. No dryer but they have a drying rack.
The only down side was the very steep set of stairs to reach our room on the second floor. There are no elevators and lugging your bags upstairs is up to YOU. There are other apartments on the main floor which you might inquire about if you're worried about the steep stairs.

We were able to easily message our host Vincent through Booking.com and he met us on arrival. The unit was a two story, 2 bedroom with 2 full baths and even had in suite laundry (a blessing after a 9 day cruise). The unit was located in the heart of old town with unlimited dining options and abundant sights to see close by. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend our 4 days. The unit was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed.
The unit was on the second story of the building with a very steep and narrow staircase. The second floor in the unit was also reached by another steep narrow staircase (the building is hundreds of years old but in very nice condition) If you have accessibility issues, this is not the Property for you.

Vincent is a fantastic host. He was both very friendly and very helpful. The location is amazing ... just a block from Palazzo Vechio and the main piazza, the Uffizi and the Galileo museum. We highly recommend it!
