Wonderful
Location, at the foot of Ponte Vecchio, unbelievable. Superb staff, especially Cristina and Alison, who were great. This is a great choice when staying in Florence. Our room overlooked the Ponte Vecchio and the river. Superb.
No restaurant in our hotel. Breakfast was a little limited, and waiting staff were not at the standard set by Cristina and Alison. There was no mention of al la Carre breakfast option, which, had any of the staff let us know, we would have opted fir

The people were amazing (staff), location is perfect for someone wanting to be in the midst of it all and the hotel is frankly lovely. I even went to the roof terrace which is pure perfection and despite not having a booking the staff did everything to get me a perfect spot in time for sunset.
I was initially in a single occupier room which had a lovely bathroom but the bedroom was a bit like a hostel and there was an issue with a light or something that made a lot of sound. The staff was amazing as sorting it out and changing my room thankfully, but just feedback for the next time :) also I was sad the spa was closed so when I booked my massage I was sent to one of the rooms for the treatment which again was fantastic but would’ve been good to enjoy the facilities fully :)

Great location
For 350€ per night the breakfast was accross the street in another building and the food was very basic. Coffee was horrible. If you book, do not include the breakfast you can find other cafés and restaurants for better value. The bridge view was not worth it because it was on low floor so you were directly on the street with no privacy. When getting changed or taking a shower we had to close the blinds everytime.

The reception staff were terrific. They were always responsive and helpful to my requests. Plus the use of Whatsapp made it easier to follow up on things. The location was excellent, easy walk to all major sites.
1. Breakfast is not in the hotel. I was directed to the Art Hotel, across the street. There the breakfast was terrible. It was a small space, the staff were over loaded, the buffet was ordinary, both tea and coffee terrible and no gluten free offerings for my wife. As I considered it substandard for the price of the hotel, I complained and was directed to another breakfast place for the rest of my stay which was in par with the hotel standard I expected. 2. The room air-conditioning could only be turned off from reception, so despite the hassle of having to get someone else to do this menial task, it was either cold or hot in our room as we could also not adjust the temperature. 3. The bathroom shower was large and comfortable however the floor was slippery (despite providing a rubber mat) with some mold on the shower walls. 4. The rooftop terrace is beautiful but the opening/closing hours are restricted plus the hotel insists on booking a table (only 1 hour bookings available) for aperitivo as they give equal weight to guests and walk in customers. They open at 16:00 and we were there at 15:55 but were not able to get a drink until 16:15 as they were still setting up the bar. All that for a 22 EUR cocktail! Overall disappointed and I won't be returning to that particular hotel as there are plenty of options within 500m.
