We loved Casa Lorena. It was extremely well set up for a comfortable stay - had everything we needed. Stylishly furnished but also comfortable. Lorena was so nice and kind. The location is away from the main tourist areas but still within easy walking distance. Good restaurants and cafes in the close vicinity with a supermarket minutes walk away.

The host was waiting for us when we arrived. The neighborhood was safe. There is a supermarket closeby. Walkable distance to the attractions and the central bus and train station. The rooms and the linen was very clean. The host suggested a few dining options which was very helpful.

Lorena met us early at the apartment and made sure we were all good. Wonderful layout - big sitting room, kitchen, and bedroom. Shopping right down the street. Could certainly have spent more time there.
Location was a bit far from the 'sightseeing' areas. But just a bit....

Lovely welcome from Lorena who allowed us to drop bags off early. Great accommodation - spacious and clean. Just a short walk across the bridge , (about a 20 min walk from SMN train station). Quieter area away from major tourist areas but still plenty of restaurants and bars close by and easy to walk to tourist attractions. 5 min walk to good supermarket.
Maybe a coffee machine although we made great coffee on the stove.

Everything, honestly. The owner messaged us well in advance and was so pleasant. She let us check in early and leave our luggage in the apartment while it was being cleaned. Super accommodating to our schedule and needs. It had everything a full apartment needs. All the appliances and amenities. We were able to save a little money by making breakfast at the apartment before heading out. It's very close to all the activities in and near the squares. We were able to walk everywhere without issue. Everything was amazing.
Unfortunately, the A/C unit didn't work very well, but there were ceiling fans to make up for it being hot.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Lorena during my time in Florence! Casa Lorena is on the opposite side of the Arno river, and the neighborhood was pretty quiet. I was within a 15-25 minute walk to all of the main attractions, which was quite nice. Lorena greeted me at arrival and briefly showed me around the apartment. Casa Lorena was well-stocked with dishes and the AC unit worked very well, which was great, as the mid-June temperatures were topping in the low 90s Fahrenheit. The fridge size was much larger than other places I had stayed in Italy, which was quite nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and I slept well each night. Conad, a grocery store, is within 8 minutes walking, as well as a number of cafes and restaurants. I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to explore all Florence has to offer but wants to stay away from the main city center.
My stay was 6 nights, and I was only given one large towel for showering. While I do reuse towels at home, I would've appreciated at least one more towel, as I showered every day. Additionally, the trash can was quite small in the kitchen and there were no additional bags for after I had filled it up.

The ceiling is amazing. This is close (10min on walk) from the Ponte Vecchio. Its comfortable. We got everything in the flat what we want.

Lorena was great, she waited for us for the check in and she also allowed us to stay until the afternoon the departure day. The apartment is spacious and very nice. We also liked the area because it is very close to center but not in a crowded street. Great trattorias and pizzerias around. Everything exceptional.

When I was looking for a place to stay in Florence and saw the photos of this property I immediately booked it. I didn't care about the price or location, it looked exactly what I was looking for - authentic historical vibes, magnificent frescoes, antique furniture... When we went there it met and even exceeded all our expectations! It's not only exactly as in the photos but it's also located in the heart of the most magnificent area of the city! Great place to stay in, especially for families!
Please note that there isn't a self-check-in. You have to arrange the key pick-up directly with the host and you have to be prompt.

The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location is on the "other" side of the river, away from large crowds, but just a short walk to the city center. I would highly recommend!
