This charming 1 bedroom apartment is within walking distance of the major sights. Also very handy to local parking garage and local square with many good cafes and restaurants. The property is well fitted out and nicely decorated.

Everything was perfect. Very comfortable bed and pillows, very important for me. Spacious and tastefully decorated. And I particularly enjoyed having access to a courtyard garden and rooftop deck to enjoy a relaxing time in the afternoon or evening as I chose

Roomy and beautiful, clean and comfortable. Location in walking distance. Michelle was available and responsive.
Only thing to improve is: there was no kettle so we boiled water for tea with pots.

Spacious & good location. Lots of goodies to welcome us.
Air conditioner in bedroom did not cool off space. It was quite warm. Shower issue was addressed quickly which is appreciated.

At our arrival our hosts we there to greet us and give us the keys. The sittim area was large, we had a mini fridge a microwave and a safe. The room was big and the bed was extremely comfortable and so were the pillows. We enjoyed taking our coffee in the garden area. It was the perfect location!
The pressure of the shower was great. it was small but very functional. The water took its time to drain properly.

A beautiful apartment with access to a garden and rooftop deck with stunning view. Loved the array of Italian food and beverage options supplied. Truly a lovely gesture. Such a beautiful part of city with plenty to explore on the door step and handy to walk to major attractions. Found a wonderful cook school 2 doors along and attended a class. Donforget to explore the Bascillica around the corner. Just stunning inside. A peaceful relaxing apartment to wake up in and return to on a hot day. Take a drink into the garden or up on the deck and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Amazing managers, beautiful room, awesome welcome food & drinks.
Tiny bathroom & shower.
Minor things that would improve:-
No milk in the welcome food.
No teaspoon.
No washing facilities (but plenty close by)
Beware - Renovations starting in neighbouring buildings may affect access & noise.

We loved Casa Del Vescovo beyond what we could have imagined. Incredible apartment with shared rooftop terrace and garden. The host Jonny who greeted us was warm friendly and so incredibly helpful. The apartment is gorgeous, historical but with everything you need including welcome supplies. Location is perfect. Living life with the locals with so much choice of food and wine venues. So close to walk to the centre. We DID not want to leave. Can not recommend more highly. San Frediano is now the place to stay on Florence. Thank you Jonny and Michelle for sharing your beautiful apartment.

It is a fully equipped well decorated appartment on the ground floor with a shared outside garden, which makes you feel at home right away and enables you to decide independently what and whenever you like to do (exept making noise at night ofcourse).
You should realise ofcourse Florence besides its renaissance wonders is a tourist trap.
As soon as you get tired from walking and want to sit down in need of a drink even when just water the money leeches start sucking on your wallet and charge 2.50 for cold tapwater in an anonymous bottle.
They charge 14 euro for plain spaghetti you can by for 50 cents in any supermarket.
So, fortunate enough you've got your own kitchen in the appartment and can collect everything from local markets and small shops (which is a delight) to prepare a perfect meal including wine for just 12 euro p.p. instead of the 32 p.p. it would have costed you in a restaurant.
Let's starve the restaurants for the next three years until they become more reasonable.
Besides that there presumably are too many people with dogs (because of the lack of public parcs). Too many Americans around the sights and too many pizza eating students.
However, ofcourse the utopian mindtrip in the real world inevitably always comes with getting stinkfoot.
So, don't pay too much attention to it and enjoy your stay in a miraculously preserved 16th century renaissance miracle. Which Firenze is.

Great location and close to the center, restaurants and the grocery store. Really nice apartment with a lovely garden.
Our host Jonny was really kind and helpful during our stay. Our flight here was a bit delayed but Jonny waited for us and made sure that everything worked out as planned.
Highly recommended!

location - once i figured out where i was in this city, i walked easily in the tourist and the locals areas
It made sense they wanted a specific arrival time, but i missed my train and arrived late and wasn’t successful in getting in touch with them via booking.com

A great location only a short walk from the sights but away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist thoroughfares. Jonny met us on arrival and provided us with a lot of recommendations on where to eat/drink etc.
