- Flavio was so friendly, helping us with luggage and responding very quickly to any questions
- The place was very spacious and affordable for the area
- very close to keysights such as the Duomo and uffizi
- great breakfast for the price
Small points to be aware of
- It would be nice if breakfast was served earlier than 8 as sometimes we have to head out earlier
- The city center where the hotel is located is a bit far from the main station and the buses to get there are a bit unreliable
- there are around 20 stairs before the lift to the hotel floor

The size of our room was amazing! We were traveling for our wedding with a lot of luggage and we had plenty of room to spread out. We had an amazing view from our room. We were greeted wonderfully and helped up the first set of stairs with our luggage and the elevator was useful for the rest of our stay. The location was absolutely amazing we walked everywhere.

Impeccably clean. All the latest technology, very secure using room key card for entrance to building and to room, the host Fabio went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Beds in suite were very comfortable. Being from USA, this facility rates above many 5 star hotels. But yet offers the boutique intimacy from the best B and B experience. Our stay was perfect. Very close to many great dinning venues. Consider yourself lucky to be able to stay here while in Florence.
I do not feel there was anything I would critique. I would not want to give even one bad point.

Location, location, location!! The best neighborhood and stone’s throw to Santa Croce church which was so beautiful. The amazing and spotless apartment was luxurious with high end and premium amenities. Every detail was unique and opulent with attention to extravagance as well as comfort. An array of amazing restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Exceptional host Flavio was accommodating, quick to respond and attentive to every requests and recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious with endless culinary choices and all the services/staff were amazing. A true hidden gem!

Fantastic location and assistance from Flavio. He was extremely great at giving us information about the downtown area and how to get around as well as ordering a taxi for the four of us at departure. Thank you Flavio for being a great host. Cheers
Too much congestion from large tour groups who blocked many areas and traffic congestion on very narrow streets even though we walked around the center city core.

The breakfast was perfect...choices of cereals, breads, fruit and eggs(choice of hard,medium, soft) It was a good start to busy days. We were greeted each morning by (Alena?) with the kinds of coffee available
Flavio was so very helpful in handling luggage and was more than willing to answer any questions or concerns. Overall we couldn't be more pleased with our accommodations! I would highly recommend!
The bathroom was modern, and spacious and soaps, shampoo , lotions were supplied
My only concern was that in the shower, a "hold bar"might be a benefit as the combination of a smooth floor surface + soap make it slippery

Everything about the Canto degli Aranci was optimum. The history of the area, the location of the property, the beautiful room, personable staff, especially Flavio who was exceptionally welcoming and passionate about Florence. We would highly recommend and definitely stay there again if we travel to Florence.

The location is just in the middle of the Old Town. the building is beautiful, the rooms renovated with a lot of touch, the Host is all in just to help and it was just wonderful.

Our stay at Canto degli Aranci was outstanding! From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. Our host met us at the door and welcomed us into his lovely B&B. The location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, on a street with plenty of inviting restaurants. The rooms were spacious with lots of light and the staff was beyond friendly. We loved our stay in Florence and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Canto degli Aranci again.
