I really did love the hotel. The location is perfect. The room is a good size and the bathroom is very up-to-date. The evening housekeeper Eva was very helpful.
The towel rack is up too high so you can’t reach the bath towels. There’s no hook on the back of the door of the bathroom so you can’t hang up wet towels. The first day I went to breakfast there were flying bugs on the table, the pastries were not fresh, and the overall breakfast was very disappointing. Take a visit to Hotel Pendini and check out their breakfast which is far superior. The wi-fi didn’t always work. There was no heat and the room was very cold.

The location was the best in the middle of all the attractions of Florance . The staff were amazing from the receptionist the young lady who help my to plane my day in Florance and Raymond who was trying to help when my flight was delayed.

The location is excellent, walking distance of all major attractions. Breakfasts had a good variety, food was prepared well and everything was fresh.
The room was comfortable and a/c worked like a charm. The staff was efficient and friendly.
I didn’t like the varied heights of the room floors.

Our experience at Hotel Calzaiuoli was truly outstanding. The location is exceptional—right in the heart of Florence, just steps from the Duomo and within walking distance of major landmarks, boutiques, and restaurants. The rooms were elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, with some offering charming views of the city.
The staff were consistently warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Service was seamless and exceeded expectations at every turn. Breakfast was a highlight: beautifully presented with a wide selection of fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, and Italian coffee, served in a refined setting.

Very centrally located to where we wanted to be. It was quant and beautiful.
We had an issue with the shower drain - ended up calling a couple of times but ultimately figured out myself to remove the filter in the drain and the water in the shower drained without a problem.

Exceptional hotel. The staff were kind and understanding on our late luggage arrival and kindly provided a free room uograde and, when the luggage arrived during our stay, left it in the room when we were out during the day. Excellent breakfast, room and ammenities.

Excellent location!! The hotel is by shops, walkable to the duomo. The staff are nice and helpful.
The shower needs renovation. As soon as you turn the water on, make sure the shower doors are aligned on the floor, and if not, you will flood the bathroom floor.
