Large luxurious room in a historic 500 year old building. Free mineral water (from dispenser in the common hallway). Great location: Historic 800 year old pharmacy across the street. Short walk from the train station.

It was very clean, and the hosts were very nice. even though the room was on the third floor, it had an elevator to bring up our bags.
I would not say this, as a complaint, just that I did not realize that the term private separate bathroom means that the toilet is not in the room where you are staying. It is across the hall from the room, but, it is only for the room that you are staying in.

Location within walking distance to train terminal. Even walked to Duomo to meet friends. Host was very friendly and helpful.
Elevator was extremely slow but welcomed over stairs.

Bellevue House is an older, delightfully authentic hotel that is conveniently situated close to the train station, local restaurants, and shops and is within easy walking distance of most of Florence's main attractions and museums. The owners, Luciano and Susan, were outstanding hosts! Kind, informative, and engaging. We needed a room with three beds, and they accommodated us with a lovely, comfortable stay. They have an elevator (note that it is a small one to two-person elevator), which is a plus for luggage, and there are stairs for traveling up and down if needed. If you are looking for a quaint, authentic, historical place to stay, this is one that makes you feel like a local. I prefer to live in the culture, and Luciano and Susan provided this experience. I'd stay there again.

Luciano made our stay in Florence very special. The accommodations were perfect and his recommendations on restaurants and places to visit were excellent. He went out of his way to make sure our time in Florence was memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. This was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Italy.

The proprietor, hotel employee is an incredible and helpful host. He procurred a mailing tube for me and was a font of information about where to go for food (including the best gelato), laundromats, and sights and he was very helpful in arranging taxis.
Elevator is very slow, but one can take the stairs as an alternative.

Very hospitable and friendly owner who gave me a list of his favourite cafes and restaurants and even booked me in for a haircut! Room charming, large and comfortable. Nice view, safe building, and excellent location.

Mr. Luciano is a wonderful host and very friendly and helpful! The room is quite spacious and has a historic vibe which makes it more appealing! The location is great, 10 minutes to the Duomo, and 10 to the main train station. Beds are comfortable, theres a water kettle in the room, and a fridge and AC, and a small lift. Would definitely stay there again :)
The toiletries were not replaced, or the towels, and the cups and plates were not washed on daily basis, but maybe we needed to ask for that.

Well located very close to the main station, car hire companies and walking distance to the main fights of Firenze. Its an old building but all functions well. The owner is lovely, extremely helpful and kind. The beds were comfortable, it worked very well for us.
Its old fashioned which wouldnt be to everyones taste but we liked its quaint layout and the traditional styling. It had all we needed.

The location and the couple owners of the house. They were wonderful and so helpful. They explain everything upon your arrival and they provide to you all the codes needed to access the building and the very slow elevator my son and I joked about.
If any - the bathroom smell. It was smelly at times muy I understand is caused by the old pipes.

Excellent location, great amenities, owners so lovely and helpful, walking distance to so much + so central, big rooms, great facilities! Owners also so lovely giving suggestions of things to do and places to see, as well as helping us arrange an early morning airport taxi pick up (and being with us at 4am to get the taxi!)! A wonderful stay in a wonderful property!

Check-in was from 13:00, but I arrived at 12:00 and had a large luggage, so I asked if I could just leave my luggage, and they kindly accepted. He carefully explained the facilities of the hotel. I think that it is very close to the station and very easy to use.
The elevator is very small and very slow as they are adding an elevator to the old building. Luggage can use the elevator, but people move up the stairs.
