Paolo is the best host ever. I had a terrible stomach after midnight, he didnt hesitate to take me to the near Pharmacy. He is very nice and generous. I really enjoyed my breakfast, too. I highly recommed this place to you all!!

Greatest welcome and hospitality by Paolo. Clear explanation and instructions for us about the tram station and he really did his best to have a comfortable stay. Good breakfast as well. So far he was the one of the best host I have met.

Paolo the host is one of a kind!
The place is 10 minutes walking from the tram station, and then 15 minutes to the city center. Paolo will insist to take you to the station every time! He will make an excellent breakfast and make sure you feel at home.
The room (with a private bathroom) is inside his house, but you will get all the privacy you need.
We will surely be back

I felt so bad I didn't know our host's name but I cheated and looked at other reviews. Paulo really is a gem. He gave us a ride from the tram(?) stop to the location by communication through booking.com. The room was spacious and beautiful, and we had a private bathroom. Paulo gave us a ride back to the station so we could get to the city easily. He helped us do our laundry and prepared a delicious breakfast for us before he had to leave. Everything was just amazing. Such great value for such amazing hospitality.
There were mosquitos, but not much you can do about that. We came in late June. Also, if Paulo were not able to give us a ride or if we couldn't communicate easily with him, it might have been difficult to find the lodging.

Everything about our stay was excellent! The host is an amazing teacher, he is kind and lovely! He even drove us to the train station and took us from there when it was raining. At first, the house looked bad from the outside but afterwards, everything was 10/10. We thought it was an amazing experience for us. About the location: it is far away from the center but about 10 minutes away from the train way which you can go with only 1 ticket that is 1.5. Lastly and maybe most importantly, the host even prepared us an amazing breakfast! He is the best! Totally worths anything!

Our host was most gracious. He took us in his car to show us where to catch the train into Florence. Every morning he had coffee, sweet rolls, yogurt available for us. He even had sandwiches for us to take for the day of walking around. He left a bottle of wine and glasses in front of our room, and left umbrellas for us the second day because it was raining. When I asked him to arrange a cab for us to the train station he insisted on taking us himself!
The room and bath were a little smaller than I would have liked, but it was fine.
