The location was perfect!!! The room had AC which was a blessing and the bed was comfortable.
Bathroom and shower were small- and the shower could do with some Reno- hot water was hit and miss, but who cares you’re in Italy!

Loved the location, walking distance everywhere!
The view was awesome. The jacuzzi on the terrace was awesome! Maggie was very good at making us feel cared for!
One little issue with the elevator malfunction that was fixed quickly. Also, make sure to give accurate info for the time of check in so that the property manager can be there on time. If you’re gonna be early or late, it’s best to let them know ASAP

I really loved the location. The room was unexpectedly perfect: room size was great, high-ceilinged room, beds clean, electrical outlets were available next to both beds, view from the room was ok, the bathroom was clean, acceptable size, towels were a good size, hair dryer good.
Attendant/front desk person to be there more hours, no iron in the room, shower stall was tight for someone 200+ lbs.

Location is amazing! you are literally less than a block away from Duomo right in the heart of Florence. The room was pretty spacious and clean. AC and Wifi both worked well. The room had a mini fridge and tea kettle with tea and coffee.
The elevator is pretty old, slow and small. It makes you truly think twice before leaving or returning to the room. So if you're a big group it might become pretty annoying. They also didn't replace our towels when house keeping happened. We had to chase the cleaning person and ask for clean towels.

This property was located right next to DUOMO and everything was so close. The room was excellent and very clean. The staff was super nice and helpful.

This hotel is in a great location, with large pretty, clean rooms, and the staff are lovely. These are the ONLY reasons to stay here.
I wish people had shared all of the MANY negatives about this hotel. We would NEVER have chosen it.
1. The reception is open very limited hours and if you arrive before this hours you need to pay for luggage storage at a location 2 blocks away (this is not only an expense it means you need to move your luggage again in the Florence heat and you need to interrupt your day to do this before the luggage facility closes).
2. Check-out is at 10 am. No exception. This is before anybody arrives at reception. So we were left to figure out for ourselves how to get to the airport.
3. You are so close to the Duomo (which is amazing) you hear the bells multiple times an hour. If you are a light sleeper, prepare to wake up at 7 am (and every 30 -45 minutes thereafter).
4. The building is an original building with an original elevator. It is slow and small. You need to account for this when planning your coming and going.
5. Our room key stuck and was so hard to turn that I was unable to do so myself and was very grateful I was with my son (who was only able to open the door after 5 minutes of trying each time). The first time it happened was when we returned in the evening. Had I been alone I would have had no recourse since, of course, it was after 6 pm and reception was closed with nobody to help me.

We could not turn away house cleaning when we wanted to sleep later in the day. Having a sign to put out to have josie keeping skip the room would have been great.

The location was fantastic, I think it is the best location for the price. The staff was friendly, communicative, and very accommodating. The rooms were spotless. One of the rooms we stayed in has a breathtaking view of the Duomo!
The rooms were impeccably clean, but quite small and lacking drawer space. We stayed in two different rooms there because we extended our stay in Florence. Both were stocked with toiletries and refrigerators; however, they were both very small, and we had to live out of our suitcases because there was nowhere to put our clothes.

It was clean and in a central location.
It’s not really what I think of as a hotel. It’s a few rooms on one floor of a larger building. Getting in and out is a rigamarole and there is an elevator but it’s very small and primitive…if you’re claustrophobic you won’t like it! Also, the much advertised terrace with a great view is only available from one specific room. Overall, I felt like the advertising/promotion of the hotel did not match the reality.

The location was awesome. The room was quiet. The bed was comfortable. It felt big and spacious because the ceilings are high. The hostess was very nice and helpful.
There wasn’t much space to put away clothes. The shower is very small.
