Nice room, nice breakfast. Small room but clean, and good location to visit the city centre.

Patricia is such an amazing host!!! Without Patricia, our stay in Florence wouldn't have been so perfect! She's always so responsive, friendly and accommodating. Her bakery is literally phenomenal. We followed her recommendations to eat at different 5 restaurants (all of them are good) and to have gelato (the best we've had in Italy). Thanks to her we got a bit closer to the local way of life. And I almost forgot the mention that, the location is excellent and our room was very lovely and clean. A very well operated B&B in a historical building, that's charming. Hostbakerygelato

Very Good
Great location, meters away from the Duomo, piazza della Repubblica, Corso etc.
Full of landmarks, attractions, restaurants and wine bar at your doorstep
Room was cozy and clean, albeit a bit small. Perfect for a quick retreat.
Great options for breakfast and great staff that provided lots of suggestions on things to see and do
There is no elevetor, to keep in mind when booking because rooms are on the second floor.
Also Wi-fi was very patchy and it didn't work in most of the room. Combined with generally poor connection in Florence, most of the time we didn't have Internet access in the room

Patricia is a really exceptional host with a lot of suggestions to make your trip in Florence unforgetable! The location of B&B Cimatori is perfect due to its proximity to city's attractions. Fantastic breakfast with home made food! Thank you Patricia!

Wonderful
Property is in a very desirable and convenient location and is very close to all of Florence's attractions. My favorite restaurant is just 500 feet away, and you can reach almost anywhere by foot (including the train station). I loved the breakfast spread; very generous and very hearty for a Continental breakfast classification, and my room was larger than expected with a generously-sized bathroom (with a rainshower feature). The closets were also big and generously-sized, and the ceilings were very high that gave the room a very grand ambience. Above all, the host Patricia is very personable and very hospitable! She was the best part of my visit, and she gave me a tip on where to have dinner when I arrived (which I went to and it was awesome).
Biggest detriment for me is that it can only be accessed by stairs (no elevator) and it's quite a climb to reach it. Although the location was excellent, the property overlooked the street and sometimes late at night some drunk tourists would be loud and boisterous. There also was no desk or table to use for a laptop in my room.

Very efficiently managed B&B, with all tourist needs catered for, and at a very fair price when considering the superb location.

I agree with previous reviewers. Patricia is an amazing host, warm and knowledgeable. She Whatsapped information about restaurants and places to visit before arrival so that I could plan. I took her advice. My meals were delicious and cost half those of a couple I met who had chosen randomly and had bad food. Patricia's instructions about how to get in were perfect. She followed up with more information at a generous breakfast served in a separate breakfast room ( cereals, cheese board, hard boiled eggs, fresh rolls, and a selection of warm pastries. She prepares the coffee for you, macchiato was my favourite. Patricia came in early as I had an early departure, and provided advice about transport on a strike day ( fortunately our train was not disrupted) I liked the decor of the room. The photos are a true reflection. The bathroom was modern and the shower efficient. I would definitely stay here again
My room overlooked the street, where noise from a bar continued until 0100, even midweek in November. Patricia has tried to mitigate this with a heavy duty window and it makes a difference. Still, bring ear plugs! As previous reviewers have said, do not bring heavy luggage as there are a number of stairs, but they are wide and there is a bannister. In spite of these issues, I am already planning a return trip. The B and B is delightful, and Patricia uplifts the whole experience of being in Florence.

It is only about 2 floors up which is very manageable without an elevator. Its very centrally located and theres lots of restaurants and a Carrefour right next door. Patricia our hostess was amazing. She gave me great recommendations and she makes the breakfast every morning fresh. I will definitely stay here again on my next stay.
I cant really say theres anything I didnt like.

Location wise the B&B is perfect, close to all major attractions. The room was spacious enough with very high wood ceilings. The bathroom is small but thought to the smallest detail to have everything you need. The breakfast had lots of choices and the home-made pastries were delicious. The host, Patricia, will go way and beyond to make you feel welcome, and she will give you tips for everything (places to visit, where to eat...).
The sound insulation of the windows could be better.

Patricia who runs the bed and breakfast was very helpful, organized and personable. She speaks four languages. She made delicious pastries for breakfast every morning. We followed her advice for where to park our car which was perfect. It was in a no driving zone but the cost of the parking covers the fee to drive in that zone. Check in was easy and done remotely. Our room was very comfortable and included a sofa. The bed and breakfast is in a building and you have to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs.

I would change zero things about our stay here. Patricia is the absolute best. She's designed a beautiful B&B and brightens it with her warm presence! All of her recommendations were on point. Everything we did that she suggested turned out to be fantastic. She is pretty amazing with languages. We saw her switch seamlessly between fluent English, Spanish and Italian. If you want to be close to the main sights of Florence, drink delicious coffee and eat tiny breakfast, and feel welcome and comfortable, then stay here. We loved it.
We loved everything.
