This B&B is in the Oltrano section of Florence, across the river from some of the main city attractions but most are within a 30 mins to hour walk depending on your walking speed. If you don’t want to walk, there is a bus stop very close by, and a tram stop that is a 12 min walk. We had a beautiful walk to the Accademia Gallery one morning. Our room was spacious and comfortable, complete with air conditioning and our own bathroom with a shower. There is a supermarket close by and a common area with a kitchen you can access. We stayed at 2 other places in Florence and this B&B had the most reliable WiFi. For breakfast, you get coupons and go to the end of the street to the café where you get 2 pastries and a café/cappuccino or tea. The pastries are outstanding! Marco is extremely helpful, we were very successful in messaging him via WhatsApp with any questions we had. He provided us a map upon check in and pointed out some locations. Be prepared to pay the room tax in cash upon check in. We enjoyed our stay there.

Marco was a great and helpful host. He gave us plenty of tips and recomendations for the city. With his help we found some really amazing restaurants nearby. The location is very good for exploring the city. As two female travellers we felt very safe in the area.

Hot water problem. No hot water or not enough hot in the middle of use. Reported to management. I hope it is for the time being and in my 2 nights' time.

Good experience! The room was spacious and clean , and the host was friendly and polite. The location was very convenient, with a bus stop nearby that made it easy to get to Santa Maria Novella station. There were also several restaurants in the area.

I can honestly say that this was one of the best accommodations I ever found, especially in price / quality terms. The host, Marco, is incredible. He had given me a map of Florence, made sure I know where everything is, and gave recommendations for restaurants and places to go to. He replied quickly to all my messages and questions, and he was very pleasant! The room was exactly what I needed and it was very clean. The area is peaceful and is just a walk away from all tourist attractions. Public transportation is very close for those who want to go further. If you want to spend your day out exploring Florence / Tuscany but want a nice and peaceful room to stay in, I highly recommend this place. I will be coming back myself as soon as I can.

The B&B is well situated with bus stop just downstairs.
The room is old-fashioned. The facilities were old . The thermo rack in the bathroom does not work. No shampoo and body soap provided.

The hotel interior needs updating. Brakfast includs only one cup of coffee/tea and sweets two peace (thats all). In my opinion value of money is a little expensive :)

Marco who works there was very professional and nice. Starting from the first message and till the end of my stay the comunicaton was clear and timely, all requests were fulfilled and I've also got few pieces of very valuable advice regarding restraiunrs and museums
The main problem is a very poor sound insulation, you can hear each step of neighbours above or from the stairs
